As of February 2019, under new ownership, “Heights” Pizza Man will re-open with a “Soft-Launch.” Our menu has been scaled down so we can focus on putting our best products forward, our hours of operation will be limited to evenings for the time being and our staff will grow as we scale up. Columbia Heights and the surrounding communities have been home to this Pizza Man location for 25 years. That is something that we truly appreciate and we owe that success and support to our wonderful customers. Pizza Man is committed to being active in this community once again and we are excited to be bringing back this iconic Minnesota born company back to Columbia Heights. I ordered tonight because we really been craving this place. We live in Blaine, literally just about a Mile from Pizza Man Blaine. (Ordered before, NEVER again and to be clear. They are NOT affiliated with eachother) So its a real treat for us when we get to have Hights Pizza Man. I had really been craving a BBQ chicken pizza, and they have chicken chunks which I LOVE! Pair this with the fact they help their community, food shelves ect… I absolutely will support a small business that cares for their community like these guys. Food was fabulous and delicious as always!

I recently took advantage of the jumbo buy one get one deal at this spot, opting for an Alfredo pizza and an all-meat pizza, and it didn’t disappoint. Both were delicious—the Alfredo featured a rich, creamy sauce that complemented the fresh toppings nicely, while the all-meat was generously packed with a variety of savory meats that stayed flavorful without getting overly greasy. The crust on both was perfectly baked, with just the right amount of chewiness. Overall, it’s an excellent value, especially with the deal, and the staff was super friendly, ensuring a smooth and quick pickup experience. If you’re craving some quality pizza, this is a great option to consider!

Both times I have ordered, there have been issues. The first time, they forgot all my sauces and my drink (the driver came back later to deliver the pop but not the sauces), and the pizza wasn’t entirely cut through, so we had to rip it apart to eat. I decided to give them another chance, and although we received our complete order again, there were issues with the cut. It was supposed to be square-cut, but it wasn’t cut through, so we had to rip it apart again. I get that sometimes stuff happens, but 2/2 it’s questionable at this point.

I have been seeing posts from the Heights Pizza Man Facebook for a long time and that’s what finally brought me in today as a customer. I love their transparency with customers and the work they do within the community, as many others have said. I stopped in and ordered in store, and my pizza was ready in about 15 minutes. I got the Sweet Heat Supreme with hand tossed crust and it was delicious and exactly what I hoped for. Some of their tech was down but that didn’t add onto the time it took to take my order or payment, and the man who took my order was very welcoming.

Best sausage pizza! The Hawaiian pizza was also delicious with lots of pineapple. The pizza was cooked perfectly. Very friendly staff. We don’t live nearby, but it’s worth the drive for this amazing pizza.

They do an amazing job. My wife and I have been ordering from this location for months and wish we had discovered it sooner. They are almost always perfectly cooked to order (as in, they really pay attention to how cooked you like your pizzas and make the effort!), the prices are decent and there is an obvious quality to the ingredients, including the meats and cheeses.
The staff and the owner are really what makes this place shine. They are incredible people for many reasons. They put passion in their work and they support the community in so many ways. They’ve raised funds to support good causes and they have even opened their pantries to people in need.
The one time my extra thick crust pizza was undercooked, they were able to take care of us over the phone and credited the pizza right away. They even offered to bake a new pizza and deliver it to us free of charge (which we declined because they already made it right and we really support them. It was a busy night for them and they were down a driver as I recall.) I only share this experience because they were so awesome about the customer service part and deserve a shout out for that too.
If you’re reading reviews on this place because you’re not sure about this place, you gotta try it. It’s not gourmet – no arugula, exotic spices or specialty ingredients, but it is damn good and it’s hard not to recommend them considering how special this place really is and the wonderful people that make it happen there.
TLDR: Maybe a better way to put it, four-star pizza but seven-star human beings.

Love the thin crust deluxe, with the square Chicago cut pieces. The perfect pizza for any season, but love to order in Football season when it’s cold outside. True Twin Cities comfort food lol. Ordered from this specific store several times, then see on Facebook that they give food away to those in need, and that is amazing. Small business grind is hard enough, finding enough time, energy, and money to support an operation, but they not only make it work, they take care of everyone in their community, no questions asked. They got me with their pizza, they keep me with their philanthropy.

Heights Pizza Man has become our pizza place of choice. We have ordered from them multiple times in the past. For my son’s birthday they went above and beyond to produce a number of pizzas for us that we took to the venue. The pizzas were ready at the scheduled time and the staff helped bring the pizzas to the car. They always go above and beyond for customer service. We are so grateful to have them in our community! I cannot say enough good things about Pizza Man!!! My favorite pub pizza in the city and some of the best workers in town. No one else in my family likes Hawaiian pizza, but I can’t help myself, it’s just the best from Pizza man! They are quick to deliver and easy for pick up and we utilize both frequently. We love how transparent their owner is about the business and feel good about supporting people who give back to the community in such a genuine way. We also love to see how supportive they are of their staff and ensure both staff safety and customer satisfaction.
