Owner was super friendly! Went for the Monday-Friday buffet from 11-2 for 13.95 pp
Had a salad bar with multiple toppings and dressing available, no honey mustard though:(
The pizza buffet itself had a pepperoni/sausage, deluxe, cheese and some other that had pineapple.
They also had pizza knots, and breadsticks but no cheese or garlic to dip in:(
They made a pasta as well and put in on the buffet.
The boneless chicken nuggets also plain and needed some buffalo sauce or something to dip in.
I definitely think some sauce options are needed even if only upon request.
Plenty of seating available.

Heard the buffet was back including the broasted chicken! It exceeded my expectations. The salad bar was fresh and was amazed at the selection of toppings. They had a good supply of all chicken pieces with an ample supply of white and dark meat. Even the pizza was good. I would welcome an additional side to go with the creamy Mac and cheese like corn or green beans. Wanted to try the carrot cake for dessert but ran out of time.
Definitely will return for another visit.

My husband and I decided to try the buffet. It is amazing!! Food is piping hot and delicious!! We’ve had other Pizza Kings but this one has won us over. Darius knows his stuff, especially the chicken!! Oh my goodness!! Done just like my mom’s! We’ll definitely be back!

My boyfriend and I planned our visit here for a week to be apart of our date day (they’re a 30 minute drive one way). We went for the lunch buffet and couldn’t have been more impressed! The pizzas were fresh, abundant in toppings, and with enough cheese to do just the perfect cheese pull! Their fried pickles (spears) were the best I’ve been able to find in YEARS. I’m already planning on making the hour drive just to get them again in the near future!
Their buffet included a salad bar and boneless wings with optional flavors including hot honey, teriyaki, BBQ, buffalo, and a bourbon sauce. The buffet also includes your drink!
The staff was extremely friendly and we conversed a lot while eating.
We can’t wait to go back for their buffet again! The price for the quality of food felt like a steal! It was $12.99 for adults!

Royal Buffet is excellent. The food is fresh, the selection is huge, and the price is very reasonable for everything you get. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re looking for a good buffet. Keep up the good work Darius we will be back

I moved to the area recently. During a move, pizza is always a “go to” option. My first pizza from this location was absolutely INCREDIBLE. Since then, I have re ordered the chicken bacon ranch pizza a minimum of five times. I am extremely impressed with the consistency, quality, and overall flawless flavor/freshness of this pie. Hats off to the crew at this restaurant!

I accidentally found my new favorite wings by trying to do a good deed.
I went out of my way—as in, drove past another Pizza King—to support the Pizza King location in Plainfield because they’re working really hard and fighting for their business right now. I wanted to show some love.
Plot twist: they earned it.
I ordered a medium pizza, a Texas BBQ sandwich, and what I can only officially refer to now as OMG-THESE-ARE-OUTSTANDING wings. I didn’t name them that ahead of time. The wings named themselves.
I got them plain with Nashville hot sauce on the side. That sauce? Dangerous. I put it on the wings. I put it on the pizza. And when the food was gone, I tipped the cup and drank what was left like a feral raccoon with good taste. Was it classy? No. Was it correct? Absolutely.
The wings are big, perfectly cooked, crispy, juicy, and apparently made using some kind of wizardry that turns a “simple wing” into a life-altering experience. First bite caused a mild curse of joy. No regrets.
The pizza—because yes, this is a pizza place—is legit. Crispy crust, not overdone, baked by people who clearly care about getting it right. You can taste that this wasn’t phoned in.
I didn’t personally eat the Texas BBQ sandwich, but the person who did said it was really tasty—and at this point, Pizza King Plainfield has earned my trust.
Back to the wings though. I am a wing fan. Unfortunately for every other wing place in the area, I will now be driving past all of them to get to Plainfield for the wings that ruined me for everyone else.
Support this location. Eat the wings. Get the sauce.

I live in California now, but grew up eating Pizza King. I read online that (thanks Yelp!) this was one of the best Pizza King’s in Central Indiana and my mom and I headed over. It exceeded expectations.
1. Colorful paint job on the exterior and clean and tidy on the inside.
2. Interior has a handful of tables for dining in. Most folks seem to get delivery or take out. We dined in.
3. The menu has more offerings than other Pizza Kings, including fish sandwiches, fried pork tenderloin sandwiches, Broaster chicken and other dishes.
4. Midwest PK has a salad bar, but, I opted for a prepared Simple Salad with Honey French dressing. It was very tasty, even if a bit messy to eat , given it came packed into a Styrofoam container and I had to pour some out onto a plate to get started. It came with a breadstick.
5. We had an order of mozzarella sticks that were pretty tasty if you need your fried food fix.
6. We had a 14″ cheese and marinara pizza and it was absolutely delicious. The manager told us the store has new ovens and it has only made the pizzas better – he was right. The pizza was crispy on the edges, not overly cheesy (unlike most Hoosiers, are we are not into pizzas drenched in cheese) and very tasty.
7. We wrapped up our meal with an Oreo cheesecake by the famed Cheesecake Lady, which was a nice treat.
8. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive.
The biggest disappointment was the use of Styrofoam products. I would like to see restaurants start to move past Styrofoam to products that are either biodegradable or recyclable. Styrofoam is neither. It takes 500 years to degrade in a landfill. Restaurants in Indiana have other options and need to move past this wasteful product. Get rid of it and you’ll have five stars from me!

Everytime we order dinner, the pizza is always delicious, hot and have NEVER had any kind of negative from the staff to the food. Especially appreciate the business for being involved with the community and actually taking honor in the business they are running and the product provided.
