Dined in Monday, February 16, 2026 for the lunch buffet at 11:15pm. Not much at all was on the pizza buffet upon arrival, what was left wasn’t very warm at all. Was there approximately an hour there was only one man running the floor, service wasnt great at all as he just seemed to struggle keeping up. Needed refills though he walked passed several times, and when he finally did stop he asked if we were slowing down then he said really slowing down?! We weren’t we were awaiting pizza to be placed on the buffet as there just wasn’t much to choose from yet again, and he was in a hurry by the time we could try to get a word out he was gone. Breadsticks or dessert pizzas were never placed. A few patrons inquired of taco pizza etc at the beginning, and were told it was on a rotation so #6, but it wasn’t put out there at time neither. I had a Black Hair on my pizza once I was seated, and found another one on the Buffett when I went to get a different plate again! My guest had a black hair on their cup as well. The whole environment of the establishment was off, service was bad, food wasn’t great very greasy as well. Was never asked how everything was while we were dining in, and nevdr got those refills til we were about to leave! Upon paying for the bill I let it be known I found hair in my food etc.. All I got from telling (her) the Manager was a look, Nothing at all was spoken to me in regards to Rectify the issue. She proceeded to Punch in the bill total, Swipe the card, and then crumble & throw away the receipt without even asking if we wanted/needed a copy! This was a 2nd time I’ve gone at a different buffet hour to try, and the buffet really lacked upkeep etc. It’s been several months that I tried a dinner one, and wasn’t impressed on it so thought I’d give it a try for a lunch Buffett. Service at the dinner was decent back then the woman was good back then, and they actually had breadsticks, but only once while we were there then… The experience was Horrible especially with the Manager in how she was so unprofessional. I get being short staffed and all, but you don’t just give nasty looks, not say a word, and not try fixing something that was wrong..

Our 1st time here. Really nice waitress. We had a half taco and half enchilda pizza. Taco meat lacks flavor and they don’t have sour cream for it.
The chicken in our subs was really dry. He liked his better.
It was good, nothing to rave about.
We’ll try a different pizza next time.

My Iphone 13 somehow ended up in the back pocket of one of the only two waitresses working on this particular Saturday night. Luckily I had turned off silent mode earlier in the day, otherwise i may not have recovered it. My brother-in-law called my phone and i followed the ring to the waitresses back pocket. She played completely oblivious as to how this may have happened and even said someone was playing a joke on her. No explanation as to how my phone got in her back pocket. Watch your belongings!

Ordered pepperoni feast and a bacon cheeseburger pizza. The pepperoni pizza was pretty good, although I dislike this style of pepperoni. I prefer the slices that curl and become crisp. The crust was alright. it could have been a little thinner. The sauce was okay, and the cheese was okay. It’s just a very okay pizza. The cheeseburger pizza was different and fun to try, but I doubt I’ll get it again. Price seemed high for 2 pizzas and 2 orders of breadsticks. $60.00 before delivery tip. Overall, it was an okay experience.

I have a special place in my heart for Decatur Pizza King. Due to this, I am probably being somewhat generous on this review. Service was good, pizza was good, and salad bar was good, but the lettuce was browning. My major complaint was the lack of help at the take out/cash register area. Upon arrival, I had a question, I waited and waited until someone finally acknowledged me. The same was true when trying to pay the check. My husband waited so long a line formed behind him. Otherwise, it was a 4 star.

Website the pizza king of Decatur website said the special was 2 10 inch 2 tops for 17.09, I confirmed this on the phone when I ordered. When I got in they were trying to charge me $23. When I asked they said the website was wrong and kept talking about the Google menu. I showed them the live website and she just kept saying that it was the old special and refuses to honor it. Sure, it’s only a couple bucks but point is that their site showed the deal and they wouldn’t honor it!

Their bread sticks used to be so small n just not a true breadstick,however lately they have been amazing. I ordered pizza and bread sticks the other night,incredible. Got breadsticks today,amazing. Their big,fluffy and so good n much better. Always good service,good food,n good people. Kayln is amazing she always tends to u and remembers how you get your stuff and makes your food on point. Amazing.

The staff here was amazing. After dumping my entire drink on the table, the server was on top of it. She cleaned everything up, brought us fresh everything, and allowed me to get all new stuff for my 1 trip salad bar purchase. My husband went to the car to get my wallet and could not get back in. The front counter staff came and got me. They also solved my emergency when I thought my wallet was lost. She found it for me. All in all, our visit was amazing because your staff was amazing and went above and beyond the call of duty to make it that way.
