Great food but not sure why they put slices of American Cheese on their Antipasto Salad. Weird. But fresh salad and huge. Love the chopped or finely grated up Mozzarella cheese on it.

The first time I went here was yesterday and I got a steak sub with cheese. The meat was overcooked and the cheese was tough. It came with some iceberg lettuce and a couple of chopped up tomato pieces. It was dry and not very tasty. I’m sorry I can’t recommend this place. I like going a neighborhood family-owned places but he’s a king just did not cut it.

This is by far the best pizza my family had in a while since we moved to Dearborn Heights area. We stopped by to grab a large pizza with one topping. The smell of the pizza filled our truck we were so anxious to get home and devour it. We will be definitely getting our pizza from this small family owned pizza spot from here on out! My husband is Italian and he is very picky and Pizza King won his heart. Also to add, Lisa is such a doll, she is the owners daughter in law. Although I met her for the first time it was so easy to talk to her and warmed up to her exceptional friendliness and customer service. Thank you Lisa! We will definitely be back again

It’s not the best or cheapest pizza around but it’s consistent. I have never tried anything else besides their pizza. I do like their pizza as leftovers more. The extra cook time in my toaster oven/air fryer combo just does the trick.

Pizza King was always a favorite when returning to the area after moving outstate years ago, even up to earlier in the year. I have been a fan since the 1970’s. However, just a few days ago, while in town, we ordered as usual. The pizza was thinner than in the past, they were stingy on the toppings, and the sauce and cheese was sparse. Of course, the price was raised as well. After 40+ years, the love affair is over. Won’t be returning.

I have been ordering here few times a week for a few years now, absolutely love this place, great customer service, I love when I get Lisa on the phone she is super helpful when it comes to ordering and is always so nice, she knows my order as soon as i call, is patient with me, knows her way around the menu. Great except they’re closed on mondays. I like to eat food every day of the week preferably, maybe I’m crazy though. 1/4/23 update. Have ordered regularly since and previously to this post. I was denied my routine, usual order by the owners son Scott in a very rude manner. Very confrontational, unprofessional, and inconsiderate as I just wanted an explanation. Will consider elsewhere in the future with no plans of ordering any time soon. For reference 1 hour before close. 3/1/23 update. Average at best and thats being generous, tried on a whim because the family wanted too, and I just gotta say this: whatever has happened to the management and food preparation is sad and one of the few worthy “local” places is no longer worth eating at.
