I’m going to start out by saying that I was in the percentage of people who saw the exterior of the restaurant and figured the food would be sub par. I’m not throwing shade, just being truthful. During my first experience inside I was happily impressed by the service and the food. I ordering by phones connected to the kitchen was an awesome idea even thought it’s probably been around for quite some time. Food came out fast and it was at this point no shocker that it was tasty. I couldn’t help myself from eating the whole pizza because it tasted so good. The server was very nice as well making sure both my our drinks filled. And to top it off there were free stickers on the way out. Overall I had a very good experience and I would like for more people like me to give this place a chance.

I’ve been a fan of their “Royal Feast” pizza for over forty years. They also have a great Stromboli and spaghetti! The only thing wrong is that I can’t stop over eating while I’m there. The pizza is Chicago cut, so it seems more like snacking because the pieces are smaller.

You know when your really hungry everything tastes good? Not this time. We ordered the chefs salad first and it looked like it was made by an angry 13 year old. Slices of cold cut and boiled eggs thrown on top of iceberg lettuce. The salad dressing was almost solid mayo. Then the royal feast pizza arrived. The veggies in the pizza came out in those nasty little squares that looked like ground vegetables. The thin layer of cheese on top fell off with the 1st bite. The waitress was very nice she was the best part of the experience. In summary, you are better off buying one from the freezer section at your grocery store. Or drop by Costco and get a really cheesy pizza. We had never tried Pizza King. For some reason it always looked sus from the outside. Well… now I know why.

This is my favorite Pizza King location in Muncie. We’ve chosen this one since 2008. The food has always been consistent, and the employees have always been kind. The wait times are reasonable four out of five times, and when they’re not it’s because three people are holding down the whole restaurant, including delivery. I’m happy to be patient here as restaurants are trying to deal with staffing issues across the board. Also, frosty mug of Bud Light. Chef’s kiss.

Our server was very rude. She dropped our breadstick plates on the table and acted like she wanted it done and over with. She didn’t even try to hold a conversation and our breadsticks were not hot they were cold. Our pizza came out fine but same issue it wasn’t hot. My fiancé and are won’t be coming back to this location ever
