I grew up eating Pizza King pizza and jones for it since I dont live in the area any more.
My favorite is the ham and BBQ pizza. They use Open Pit BBQ which also isn’t available where I live. It’s a spicy vinegar based BBQ that is delicious!
The Royal Feast pizza is also great so we ordered half Royal Feast and half Ham & BBQ, yum!!!
There are telephones at every table so you can sit down and call the kitchen to put in your order. Adds a unique twist on service.
If you’ve never had Pizza King pizza, you have to try it!!!

Usually come here once a week and have always had an excellent experience. We are big fans! Lately, however the service has been terrible. We rarely get our breadsticks without a reminder, or if we do, the breadsticks come out the same time as the pizza. Never an apology or an offer to compensate for the wait/inconvenience.

A great place to eat that’s fairly quiet, good staff, good food and a unique ordering experience with the telephones I forgot is pretty unique to the company. Prices are great for what you’re getting and it’s a good place for families going out to eat.

We always have a positive experience any time we order from the pizza king here in berne- but wanted to get on here to give the woman (I believe she is a manager but I’m not certain) who has walked our food out for me ANY time I am by myself and have my one year old son with me. Every time it’s just been him and I in there, without hesitating she walks out of the kitchen with our food and walks with us to our vehicle and sits the food on the seat for me. Huge shout out to you if you’re reading this!! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had people at other places just watch me struggle as I’ve got him on one arm and my food in the other trying to juggle the door, the truck doors, etc all with a very busy and wiggly boy. Her kindness is always so appreciated truly, and how wonderful she is with my son as well as the rest of the staff. They all are super smiley and kind to him and to us. Great job to all of you!

Never had our drinks refilled. No tomatoes on our chicken ranch feast. Service was underwhelming. Order taker didn’t understand our order and asked me twice in addition to our daughter and her friends ordering. Was told there person taking the order was new. Our server wasn’t friendly at all. Food was okay. Paid over $60 for poor service and mediocre food. The manager was friendly. Only highlight at this place. Also had to ask for a box for our leftover pizza, since the girls wanted to take it with us. And had to ask for the bill. In addition to asking, we had to ask for parmesan and hot pepper flakes for our pizza. Also had to ask for extra napkins. Won’t be back. We will drive to Decatur next time.

I didn’t want to contact so they wouldn’t know who was ordering. But I have now ordered 2x a subwrap the past few months and they are no longer haveing raw Dough.As I orignaly contacted them few yrs ago when first happend alot they seemed frustrated.But seems like for now issues are fixed. As got subwraps last 2 x have tutned out not ras…As i had orginaly giveing up letting them know as I didn’t ever want them to think I wanted free food.So when left comment i didnt call. I just waited to give it time…But got one about month ago it was okay and about 3 months ago maybe… The last 2 times the wraps didn’t contain raw dough.

The food was great here…hot, fresh, and delicious. The service may have been the worst I’ve ever experienced in my travels. The waitress brought my pizza and that was it. I had to walk up to get a refill on my drink, I had to bring my drink and my leftover pizza to the counter to get a box and to-go cup. All the while, the young folks working in the back were talking amongst themselves like it was their own hang-out zone and they weren’t on the clock. I don’t think I’ll be back here.

I gave 3 stars due to one pizza was perfect and the other was barely any pepperoni. They both are pepperoni feast but the bare one has BBQ sauce . They said it blew up in the oven and had to cover with cheese.
