Legit one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. I saw an online review and bee-lined to the Phipps location. I had a jumbo slice of the Mushroom Pie — don’t sleep on this one! The mushrooms and garlic with hint of lemon are so flavorful. I tried the Cacio e Pepe Pie which has rich fontina cheese and black pepper – you have to love the intense cheese flavor to fully appreciate this one. The Hot Italian Pie is delish. If you’re sensitive to spice, it has some kick, but it’s worth it. They nailed the crust on these pizzas. It was both perfectly crisp yet dense enough to satisfy the crust lovers. I’ve checked out a lot of pizza spots reviewed on social media. This is the one.

Ponce Market does not disappoint! Hands down, this is the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. The mushroom slice is perfectly balanced, the flavors of the mushrooms and garlic complement each other so well. I loved it so much I came back two days in a row! Let me start with the very NYC pizza joint vibe they had going on. Loved everything about it! Very nostalgic playing 80’s and 90’s hits. Chill and relaxing times are here in spades!
Let’s get to the pizza review… Let it be known I am no Dave Portnoy from Barstool, but I have had more than my fair share of good, mediocre, and below average pizza .
At 1st glance, it looked like I was in NYC at lunchtime. Solid overall appearance. Hot & Fresh. Good under carriage. Not too much flop. 1st bite, very good. Quality sauce. Great quality mozzarella cheese, with a good crunch. Crust had a great structure, great dough, and also resembled a similar crunch from the 1st bite. Overall I did very much enjoy this pizza.

Pizza Jeans feels like stepping into a time capsule—in the best way. Loud 80s and 90s music sets the tone, and the whole place gives off a laid-back, no-frills vibe that works. It’s casual, fun, and unapologetically nostalgic.
The pizza is classic NY style—thin crust, foldable, and hits that comfort food spot. I do wish it had a bit more cheese to really round it out, but it still does the job. Slightly overpriced for what it is, but then again, that’s kind of the theme across the food hall.
Come for the throwback tunes and chill atmosphere, stay for the slice (just don’t expect it to blow your mind).

Pizza Jeans is such a vibe! From the moment you walk in, the throwback aesthetic grabs your attention—the retro design mixed with the old-school music creates the perfect nostalgic atmosphere. It felt like stepping into a cool time capsule. The energy was great, and the whole place had a fun, laid-back feel. I absolutely loved the vintage touches and the playlist that made the experience even better. Definitely a spot I’d come back to—not just for the food, but for the whole vibe!

This place is always super busy but we managed to come at the right time (before everyone else showed up 10 minutes later!) and got a pepperoni pizza. It was insane. So delicious! Honestly one of the best pizzas I’ve had in my life probably.. I was kind of apprehensive spending almost $30 on a pizza but it was huge and totally worth it. I wish I lived near ponce market, I’d be here all the time. The guy helping us was super nice too. Sadly they were out of cannolis, next time!

This place is just vibes. Their pizza is dry, and not flavorful. 7 bucks a slice for dry, flavorless, pizza. I came at 12 for lunch, ordered the mall slice. Maybe their other slices are better? Not for me to decide.

For context, I am a native New Yorker and spent 30 years eating pizza in every borough, including Long Island and upstate NY.
When I arrived, I told the guy taking my order that I was from New York and asked if he was, as well. He responded that he was from New York, so I had high expectations. The slices awaiting looked dry, so I asked for a slice from the pie that just came out the oven.
I do want to support a fellow NY, and my intent is never to bash a business in this economy. Therefore, I will simply say that the pizza here was comparable to other Atlanta shops, but not reminiscent of a good slice from NY. Do give them a try, but if you’re from NY, this will not remind you of hometown slices.

Cute pizza joint in Ponce market. Pleasant service . Small seating area , decor was hip and cool. I ordered a pepperoni slice with dine hot honey to drizzle on top. The pizza was so good. I enjoyed my slice , I’m sure you will too!
