The food was excellent and the service wasn’t too far behind! I ordered two thin Crust pizzas: one was pepperoni and Italian sausage and the other was extra cheese. Both were excellent. The crust was thin and very flaky. It almost melted in my mouth. It was difficult to decide which was the better pizza. My kids enjoyed both. As I was from out of town and staying in a nearby hotel, I asked for napkins and plates. The young lady behind the counter happily provided them without hesitation or charge. Great place! If I ever return to the area, I will definitely be eating there again.

What a nice surprise! Def above average pie – & I’ve had a couple in my day! Great price, great ingredients, much better than any chain (yes, even the actual good ones). Aside from Burts and pequods i don’t usually eat the crust of chicago style or deep dish but this actually had a great crust! Will definitely be back when in the area – super friendly employees too – job well done!

This pizzeria is an absolute GEM! Pizza Italia is easily one of the best, if not thee best, tavern style pizza shops in the entire northern lake county suburban area. Their crispy and flaky crust, and perfect cheese and sauce make this a no brainer for my family pizza nights. I generally drive about 20 mins to get my take out, because the restaurant is small, but it’s always worth the drive. I recently tried their pan pizza and it was incredible as well. This will be your new go to pizza spot, trust me.

First time customer, and it was very nice! The customer service was very good even during the lunch rush – – the food was fresh and delicious. Buffalo wings (asked for them to be well done) were nice, spicy, and covered in delicious sauce. The only two complaints I had were that the child seat buckles were broken and could not restrain my 2 year old properly & the bathroom was dirty/not well lit. I always appreciate when a business takes the time to take care of their bathroom and make it clean/comfortable for their customers & it just was not.

I used to be a resident of Libertyville and I Frequently ate at Pizza Italia. The last time I ate there was in 2013, I came back to Libertyville recently and fortunately you are still there and fortunately you still have the best pizza in town thin crust. Make sure you get the thin crust and one more thing, there was a young lady behind the counter, her name was Grace, the nicest person that could ever work at this place is working there. Please keep up the quality and the good work . It was a pleasure returning to get good pizza again. Please open another place in central Florida. I already want to return to get more!

This is my family’s favorite pizza place in this area. Personally, I don’t care for the gluten-free crust but the toppings are so plentiful, that I can be very satisfied by just eating the toppings. My husband likes the crust. The rest of the family likes the thin crust pizzas (pictured). My daughter in law loved the salad and it was huge. This will continue to be our pizza place in Libertyville.

Great hole in the wall pizza place. Not too big, not too busy. Just right everything. Pizza is top notch. Service is not only with a smile but makes you feel at home. And not just your mother’s house, your loving abuela’s house where she sneaks you extra portions and always has those good mints on hand.
