Heard about the $8 pizza buffet and was in the Asheboro area so we decided to pay Pizza Inn a visit. Firstly, the staff was very good. They were attentive and routinely checked on us. They had a wide variety of pizzas on the buffet as well as spaghetti, bread sticks, garlic knots, a large salad bar and a dessert bar. I do wish the pizzas were labeled as to what they were. This would help with selection. We also arrived close to 2 PM so it’s that time between lunch and dinner. As such, the pizzas were not as fresh as they could have been. They do have a really good thin crust and enjoyed the taco, ham and pineapple, and veggie pizzas. Will definitely visit again but will try to hit it closer to lunch hour.

First time vising a Pizza Inn in over 20 years so it was a trip down nostalgia. We found the staff to be incredibly friendly and accommodating. There were very few vegetarian pizza options out when we initially arrived. The staff noticed our empty looking plates and immediately asked what type of pizza they could make for the bar. Great customer service!

This chocolate pizza is my wife’s favorite thing from Pizza Inn. The last two weeks I’ve worked in Asheboro I’ve brought her one home considering it’s the only one around anymore. Today’s experience wasn’t the greatest. I place my order, and when i get approximately 20 mins later I was told “your order was made a while ago” and your original was put on the buffet because they were out! So I had to sit and wait for another pizza to be made. I’m sorry but why is my food being but out like that, and I’m the one having to wait. And to me the pizza is overcooked. The only reason I didn’t ask for another is because I had to hit the road. Very disappointed with this experience today.

This is the second time I visited this place and the first time I said I wouldn’t go back because the food was so gross, old and overpriced during the weekend . This time I came during a weekday because I was a little strapped for cash and it is eight dollars for the buffet . I came during dinner hours, this time when it’s busier . I thought that the food would be better and it would be fresh. The salad bar and the pizza was mediocre at best and the first time I came the same waitress that helped me today was very over talkative and friendly when I was trying to spend time with my son , and she’s been like that with all the tables sucking up. I was a waitress for many years when I was younger and giving people too much attention is worse than not giving them enough sometimes . Today it was the complete opposite and when I came in I said it’s just me and she was like OK? I laughed nervously and then she sat me down and while she was kissing up to all the other customers since I was by myself I guess I wasn’t worth talking to because she probably couldn’t get a good tip out of one buffet , which is fine with me but she was just totally rude and didn’t come by not once . Yeah it was just weird. The rest of the staff was very nice and they kept coming by and asked me if everything was OK if I needed anything. She ended up putting my bill on the table while I was at the buffet and I just had a injection in my knee today and I’m not walking very well so I asked her to take the money for me and she rolled her eyes and took it . I’m not really sure why she treated me that way but that was very professional and just downright mean.

Jayden was adorable and never let our drinks empty. The pizza shop had a cool retro vibe. Clean. The food was fresh as it was very busy. Good selection on salad bar, pizza bar and dessert bar. Great price too. $10.99 per adult buffet which is comparable to other pizza buffets. Would definitely go back!

I just wanted to take the time to review this place. The service here was incredible. The manager and server were able to accommodates my wife’s celiac requirements with no reactions. They went out of their way to make her a gluten-free dessert, pizza as well. This place will continue to have our business, not to mention all the pizza was hot and fresh from the regular bar as well!

I called ahead to ask if the buffet had Mac n cheese, because my 3 year old wanted Mac n cheese and pizza (in that order) for lunch.
Earla answered and said “we’ll make that, it’ll take about half an hour. How long until you’re here?” Not “no,” or “not yet”.
When I got there (about 20 minutes later) everyone was very nice. The Mac n cheese wasn’t out yet but Earla happened to notice me looking around and asked if I was looking for Mac and cheese (yes), found out it would be almost out and told me about it. The waitress, Sarah, made sure I had a booster seat for my 3 year old, and made sure the drinks were topped up, which is something because I drink a ton of water. Everything on the buffet was fresh and tasted great.
I spoke briefly with the manager, Stephen, to compliment everyone and he was glad but didn’t seem surprised. I’ll be back with the rest of the family.
I was really excited to make sure to find a place for “Mac and cheese and pizza”.

This is one of the best pizza buffets in the whole state. The gentleman who runs it is always on top of things and always present in the restaurant and he has a great staff that are very attentive. Always hot and fresh pizza on the buffet in the salad bar always looks great. Definitely worth the money

As a pizza buffet his was a nice place to go with my grandson and my great-granddaughter. There was plenty of variety and the food tasted good. There was a wide variety of pizza for all tastes, including vegetarian. The salad bar was just okay and the desserts on the bar were targeted more for children.
