I haven’t had Pizza Hut in many years, but I thought I would give it a try for old times’ sake. I ordered a stuffed crust pizza and breadsticks.
The pizza was average. The breadsticks were absolutely delicious, just like I remember. What wasn’t like I remember was the size of the marinara sauce that came with the breadsticks. They sent me a thimble of tomato sauce to dip my breadsticks in. The old tub was never enough sauce either, but at least it seemed like they were trying. Instead they sent me enough sauce for one single breadstick, even though there were 5 in the order. Fail!
I don’t know if this is a corporate decision or a franchisee decision, but I do know this is the dumbest “business decision” I’ve ever seen. Really, the tomatoes, water, and sugar sauce was where you decided to cut costs? You’re really going to convince me to never order from your restaurant again over 3 cents of tomato sauce? How dumb can you be?
