When my order arrived, the food was completely cold. One of the pizzas was also undercooked—the dough was white instead of golden brown, and I had to place it in my own oven to finish cooking it. In addition, I specifically ordered pan crust for one of the pizzas, but it arrived as hand-tossed, which was not what I requested or paid for.
After receiving the incorrect and poorly prepared order, I attempted to contact the store to speak with a manager. I called three times in the morning, but each time the call was routed to customer service, and I was told the store was busy and to keep calling back. I followed those instructions and called again around 6:00 PM, when I spoke with an employee named Emma.
Unfortunately, this interaction was extremely unprofessional. Emma was rude, dismissive, and told me the crust supposed to look like that. I told her when I order from Papa John’s it’s a golden brown color. She said they use a different dough. She then said you waited 24 hours to call back—even after I explained that I had already been calling all day with no success. She then stated that she could only offer $15 in compensation, despite the issues with the food quality and incorrect order. When I said I would accept that and contact my bank regarding the remaining balance, she responded that I would not receive a refund at all and hung up on me.
This experience was frustrating and unacceptable. Between the cold and undercooked food, the incorrect crust, and the poor customer service, this order did not meet Pizza Hut’s standards.
I am requesting a full refund for this order and that this incident be reviewed by management. I would also appreciate follow-up regarding how customer complaints are handled at this location.
And we were waiting for someone on the counter for about 10 mins and there was nobody to assist. I had to call to the place and then the counter person came in. They were standing outside looking at us waiting while on the phone for that whole time. What really bothered me was that he was chuckling when they saw us coming into the store and did not attempt to say I’ll be with you shortly, which we would have understand I did retail for years and sometimes you have to take a call. It’s unbelievable I had to call to the store for them to come in and not even greet or say anything, which makes me think that if I didn’t they would have never come in. A very distasteful experience at that Pizza Hut
