Me and my (3) boys came into your Greer SC location to eat for supper last night . I walked up to the counter not hey how are you doing, but what do you need. I said I would like a table for (3). The black guy behind the counter said we are not doing dine in. He said we have no server. He was doing nothing why could he not serve us??? I also wanted to let you know that there was no SIGN ON THE DOOR! If this how you treat your customers, I want be back. I also wanted to let know that I told the guy this is the reason Pizza Hutt is closing for reasons like this. I feel like the Customers Is Not Pizza Hutt’s top priority. We came into this location around 6:30 pm. We had to go to supper at AppleBee instead of Pizza Hutt where we got turned away. We will not be back her because of how we were treated. I will also let other people know not to go there because of the Poor Customer Service and how we were treated at your Greer SC Location.

I don’t always answer the call of the red roof… but when I do…

How about that pizza hut experience, big blip?

I don’t always answer the call of the red roof… but when I do…it’s as if I stepped into a time machine filled with with mozzarella cheese. The red roof hums like it knows secrets. You push the door open and boom—warm air thick with oregano, buttered crust, and the faint echo of birthday parties past. Somewhere, a soda fountain is living its best life.
Then it arrives. The pan pizza. That golden, audacious masterpiece. The crust doesn’t crunch—it announces itself. The cheese stretches like it’s auditioning for a romance film. Pepperoni cups curl at the edges, holding tiny pools of destiny. You lift a slice and for a moment, gravity negotiates.
I once witnessed a table go silent when the first breadstick snapped in half. Steam rising. Marinara glistening. A child whispered, “It’s perfect.” And honestly? The kid wasn’t wrong.
Here’s the thing about Pizza Hut: it’s not trying to be artisanal. It’s not foraging herbs at sunrise. It’s delivering comfort on a red plastic tray and saying, “Relax, champ. We got you.” And sometimes, that’s exactly what you need.
“Not every hero wears a cape. Some come in a cardboard box.”
The wisdom? Nostalgia tastes better when you let it. Don’t overthink the slice—just take the bite.
Stay cheesy, my friends.

It seems opening the dining room back up is a great concept, but staff isn’t prepared for it. We came after work, so a busy time of day. There’s a sign to see the cashier to be seated (a bit odd). The cashier was more interested in his cell phone than ensuring we were seated, and called one of his line cooks over to seat us and wait on us. So the one guy took our order and brought two cups of each drink to the table. This told me my gut instinct that he is working kitchen and waiting tables was correct. After we received our pizza and breadsticks, we didn’t see the waiter again until we were finished eating and completely out of drink. The cashier… on his phone the entire time even when customers are standing right in front of him waiting for service. We had to ask about the dessert pizza we had ordered to which the waiter/cook replied “oh, I forgot. I’ll get one cooking now”. The staffing issue is not this young man’s fault. He is very pleasant, but I can tell he’s overwhelmed. I tipped him appropriately because it truly isn’t his fault. As far as atmosphere… please do away with the chiming bell! It is ridiculously annoying.

The staff was very friendly, smiled and my food came up quick. The lady who helped me was very sweet. i ordered a stuff crust pizza. The food just wasn’t any good. The dough taste frozen. Its so dry. They didn’t put garlic butter on the crust. The crust taste like a microwave pizza, and the pizza had very little cheese and almost no sauce. I couldn’t finish the pizza because it was just so dry and the frozen taste in the dough just was so off putting. Its really sad. I love pizza hut, but pizza hut cuts corners on the toppings a little too much. They charge more than other pizza places but put the least amount of toppings and cheese on their pizzas.Their taught to short the cheese and short toppings on their food to keep their food cost low, but it really effects the taste of their food. This location almost always looks like a ghost town. Its getting obliterated by little ceasers and the dominos across the street, who both make better food. Im almost always, the only person there. This pizza hut has really fallen allot. They need to really up the quality of their food, and improve the customer experience to bring back the huge amount of customers they have lost. I really hope that they turn the place around.

Pizza Hut has a special large pie with 5 toppings for $10 right now for carryout. I really enjoy their pan pizzas, so I picked one up and it was as good as always.

I came in to pick up my food and was being charged an extra 17.99 than what the prices are quoted. Watch your tickets and their advertisements. I will never spend my money there again and is sad cause Pizza Hut is my favorite.

Why did I even try this location (Greer Wade Hampton) again after the same 1-star experience last time. We arrived at 8p in plenty of time to order. My husband was meeting me and when he got there we decided to dine in. When I asked the girl if we just sit anywhere she said no because they didn’t have a server. I told her that we don’t need a server I can walk up here and grab the box of pizza. I was really thinking OK there’s six kids back here working/not working and not one of them could bring a pizza to a table. Then the website said they had BOGO pizza on Tuesday, but she said they don’t honor that at this location, (ok could be true) then 3 of the 4 things we tried to order for the $7 dollar deal they didn’t have. We asked for pan pizza but she said they don’t have any pan pizzas or couldn’t make one (is it different or made a certain way?) The main thing we noticed and could not believe was them completely ignoring the phone ringing from behind the to-go counter. It was intentionally turned up loud so you could hear it, and I can only imagine how much business was lost. Mind you we were the only ones in there they were not busy and I counted 5 standing around. I guess because I am a manager, this bothered me more than it should have but I just wonder if there is any leadership in there at night. Now, I could be wrong or maybe I just don’t understand the pizza business but come on!! Oh, the best part was the 18 lemon pepper fries they put in a big box. Who does that except someone who does not care.

Very disappointing experience. The staff was rude and unprofessional, and none of us felt welcomed. We felt like our presence was an inconvenience. I hope they can improve their customer service.

Terrible service!! There are about 10 people inside all waiting for their orders while the whole team is on their phones sitting down. I can see ready pizzas and the oven backed up with pizzas aswell yet they aren’t handing them out. My pizza was supposed to be ready 20 mins ago!

I’ve had the worst experience in the pizza hut ever. When I got home the pizza was cold and dry. There was hardly anything on it. I might as well eat cardboard because that’s how limited it was with the sauce and cheese. I’m very very disappointed in this place. They used to never be this bad. If I could give a 0 stars, I would. Before you leave with your pizza, make sure its the way it should be. On top of everything, when you want to talk to someone, no one will answer the phone. What a serious let down.
