first time having pizza hut in forever and not a great experience. they put the breadsticks and cinnamon sticks in the same box leaving them to leak on the regular bread stick and i paid for 3 pickle ranches and they didn’t give them to us and when we went in to ask they told me they don’t sell it anymore and just gave us normal ranch which we wouldn’t have purchased if we had known also we placed the order well ahead of time and it said our order was ready but when we went in they still made us wait for an additional 5-10 minutes

On 9/3/25 I redeemed my Pizza Hut rewards points for a medium 2-topping pizza (cupped pepperoni and chicken sausage).

Order timeline:
• Placed: 7:38 PM EST
• Ready: 7:52 PM EST
• Picked up: 8:03 PM EST
• Issues discovered: 8:36 PM EST

When I first looked at the pizza, I noticed the crust was uneven and poorly made — almost like a pie chart with a missing piece. That alone was disappointing, but the bigger issue came once my wife and I started eating.

We found rubber band pieces cooked into the pizza. Some parts were extremely chewy, and we literally had to pull these pieces out of our mouths while eating. This is not just a quality problem — it’s a serious food safety hazard.

I immediately reached out to Pizza Hut’s chat support to report this. Unfortunately, the chat kept disconnecting on their end, not mine, and despite being told someone would follow up, I received no resolution.

This experience left me with multiple issues:
1. Poorly prepared pizza with uneven crust.
2. Contaminated pizza containing rubber band pieces.
3. Lack of customer support — multiple chat disconnections and no resolution.

I am requesting that my points be refunded, along with proper compensation for this unacceptable and unsafe experience. I’ve also attached a photo as proof of what was baked into the pizza.

For a national brand like Pizza Hut, this is beyond unacceptable. This experience has completely shaken my trust in Pizza Hut’s quality control and customer service.

Poor customer service + bad attitude. Location is kind of convenient if you’re in the area. Place is clean and busy. Only take out make sure they give you what you order not whatever they want by the time I realize it I was too far from location. It’s terrible

Tonight instead of cooking I decided to order pizza. Everything was fine with the deliver , the delivery driver was unable to find my door and called me to get help. He was very kind and professional. Once I had eaten one piece and moved on to another I noticed what I thought was a burnt piece of bacon but upon closer inspection I realized it was a FLY! A fly had been cooked into the pizza ( burnt to a crisp) and I was only one bite away from eating it! I called the store and was transferred to what I can only assume was a call center and once the gentleman answered I could barely hear him I explained the issue to which he told me ” I never heard of that before” ……. I asked only to be refunded for my pizza and he stated I could have another made which I did not want. I was put on hold for 15 minutes , long enough for me to get in the car and drive to the store with the pizza still on my plate (I was still on hold). I showed the slice to the gentleman at the counter and told him exactly what had happened and showed him that I was still on hold. He stated he could only refund me for the item so I got $12 back for my troubles.

Firstly, I will not be returning to this store EVER! Nor would I recommend anyone eat here. What could’ve been such an easy fix of refunding me for my order turned into me being put on hold and basically spoken to like I was trying to get a free meal. The customer service in the experience was AWFUL! Thank you to the gentleman at the store who helped refund my money back and to the kind delivery driver. And to the lady behind the counter who rolled her eyes when I handed my fly slice back I hope you never have bugs in your food and get treated in the matter I got treated tonight.

On halloween 10/31/25 it was super busy. Door dash orders wouldn’t stop coming in, the phone wouldn’t stop ringing with more orders, customers kept coming in and the store waiting area is very small. Some people had to wait outside and it was a chilly night. The staff had a VERY difficult time keeping up with the volume of orders and they only had about 3 people in the kitchen and one driver. The person at the front was highly frustrated and stressed and was pretty rude to everyone waiting out of frustration but I do not blame the poor women at all!! She was very apologetic and nice at the end of our interaction so I felt better leaving. I didn’t take it personally because I was already stressed just watching everything going on while I waited so I can only imagine how she must feel on the floor. Working in the food industry is hard work and it’s unfair of whoever is in charge of scheduling to expect such short amount of employees to do the job of 10 or more. Ridiculous if you ask me! I placed my order online at 8:35pm, arrived at the restaurant for pick up like I was told to 15 minutes later at 8:50pm, and it wasn’t ready until 9:50pm. I waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for 2 pizza pies and 1 chocolate chip cookie. I blame Pizza Hut though, not its employees. The head controls the body therefore Pizza Hut being the employer of said employees is the one in control, and needs to take initiative and accountability to fix this so it won’t happen again moving forward. Food still came out great! I commend the employees for that because I thought it was going to turn out terrible given the stress they were experiencing on the floor. Will I be back? No time soon!

Remember those crispy, buttery pan pizzas we used to love? You won’t find them here. These personal pan pizzas were worse than gas station pizzas! Under cooked, some of the cheese wasn’t melted and the garlic was in a giant pile in one spot and totally raw. We were also missing the cheese stick from our order.I only gave it a 2⭐️ because it was round and resembled a pizza and they got all three ingredients correct. This experience ruined the nostalgia of Pizza Hut Pan Pizza for me.

Immediately walking in I was greeted with the sweetest smile from Zaniyah and she was just so helpful as I wasn’t able to place my order online and still unsure of I wanted..my food was cooked to perfection by Shannah and I will certainly be doing my pizza night nowhere else but the hut on Capital..a duo you’ll love if you’re looking for good service and good food…
