Look, Oil City Pizza Hut has some Amazing workers. Never had a problem with one even once.
With that said, EVERY TIME I USE THE APP TO GET MY POINTS, IT SCREW UP MY ORDER…
EDIT: Y’all Should’ve NEVER Asked me to do this.. I’ve never taken a review from 2 stars to 1 star. If only there were 0 stars.
Here we are again.. How many messed up orders? How many missing items? How FEW Credits remembered? And the few screw-ups they make up to you, THEY MESS THEM UP TOO!
Guys, guys, guys… Check my Record.. I’m like, 97% 5 starts in my ratings.. I LOVE Lifting up Amazing, (even decent) service. When my children get to pick dinner and say, ‘Pizza Hut”, My stomach instantly turns because I picture THIS! Not a warm meal, not happy kids, THIS… Trying to get what I ordered and for it not to taste like the container it came in..
I finally, after what? 50? 80 reviews… I finally found the worst business I’ve ever paid. You can keep those 288 Hut Rewards. The order would be wrong anyway.

Well, I’m happy to report that a corporate member has reached out to me about their concern for our local Pizza Hut. He informed me that there has been some staff changes and lack of delivery drivers that have caused a bit of a disruption in the service.
The fact that this gentleman, who has worked with Pizza Hut since 1991, took the time to reach out with me, and have a conversation, shows his dedication and care for this company. I believe him when he says that they are working diligently to resolve the matter, and we will in short order see improvements.
This alone has encouraged me to raise my review up to 3 stars, as I am quite impressed with the commitment he has shown. I’ll give it some time, and order again. Then, I’ll return and give everyone an update.

I ordered my pizza thru the app with no problem. My pizza was ready when promised. Very little wait to ring out and very friendly cashier. The restaurant was decorated very a festive atmosphere with a cozy tree with light and gifts. My food was warm and delicious!

Update: After about 2 years.
Took a couple years just to fix the app.
App works better now and doesn’t kick you out like it used to, at least for me. Which is great, and makes it easier to order quickly.
I’m updating my review now after 2 years. Food is great. Delivery and pick up are easier. I went in there tonight to pick up an order, and the older gentleman that I had gotten my order from was pretty stern about me wanting extra Buffalo sauce. “Next time you have to pay for it.” “I won’t make you pay this time, but next time, you have to pay for it.”
Okay.., I don’t mind doing that, but I couldn’t find that option on the app when I ordered. I had to go back and put it in the “notes” section. I even left a tip (for pick up..)
He made a huge point about it being extra.
It was awkward to even enjoy my meal with my *extra sauce* because it was supposed to cost extra. Sorry dude?? Please calm down. Call me next time if it’s that much of an issue. We will sort it out. Thanks.
Everyone else I’ve picked up from while I went was super nice, no issues. This guy had brown hair and was tall ans a bit older. Very stern “Father” like voice when he spoke to me. I had my young son with me. I was kind of taken aback and just stood there, shocked. If it was that big of a deal, I could have went out to my car to get my wallet to pay for $1 extra sauce. Guy made me feel so uncomfortable. I’m not sure if I will even keep ordering from here now. Thanks “Guy.” (Picture for Context.) I wish I would have caught your name Guy….

I want to give a huge shout out to the manager, Doug, of Oil City Pizza Hut, and the employees who were working this past Saturday night!
My husband loves pizza, and their staff helped me pull off a GREAT surprise dinner party for his 50th birthday!
The professionalism, attention to detail, caring about my needs (as many know, I just had 2 major surgeries in one week—and manager Doug made things run so smoothly from when I first asked to have the dinner back in October until the very end of Saturday night!) The staff were friendly, extremely attentative to those dining, and just amazing to work with!
We are thoroughly impressed with the customer service and so very thankful for manager Doug and his staff for going above and beyond to make this dinner possible!

I placed an order and spoke to a man and gave my card number and the delivery address. I arrived home to hear the pizza was taken back to the store and the driver said we had to pay cash(?). I checked my card to see it had not been charged and called the store to discuss what happened. The woman was extremely unhelpful and unfriendly telling me I would have to wait to have the order re-delivered. I explained it had already been over an hour and did not feel this was justified to serve my family cold food when I had given my card over the phone to pay for the food. She told me to place a new order then she hung up on me. I then placed an order online and paid with my card. The order i placed online was different than the order from previously because I did not want that cold food. An hour later the driver delivers, but what we received was the very cold, soggy PREVIOUS 2-hr old order. I called the store and the same woman hung up on me when I asked to speak with a manager. She didn’t give her name. This occurred Friday night the day after Thanksgiving. I am a single mom who works 12 hour days. This was an ‘insult to injury’ scenario. I tried to call in during the day to speak to a manager only to get the run-around. Now our calls go to customer service in the Philippines, who redirect you to call here and there. No one is ‘available’ to speak to you until well after the time I leave for work. INFURIATING.

Many things wrong with my experience. First of all the prices are insane Large pizza, 8 piece wing with 4 drinks and a brownie came out to 47.00. The wings were supposed to be an 8 piece and we got 6 wings in the box. The marinara sauce we ordered was nowhere to be found. To top it all off, it took an hour and 15 mins for our order to arrive so all the food was cold. 47 dollars for by far the worst pizza delivery I have ever had. In their defense, they offered a 10 dollar credit towards my next order but its useless because I will never order from this location again.

The manager of this place, Doug is the most rudest ignorant person that there probably is cannot believe they allow this guy to be the manager. I asked to speak to his supervisor, and he pretty much told me he did not have one. He is the boss any complaints he deals with. I will never ever eat Pizza Hut again thank you for the experience Doug.
