This place is an absolute nightmare. I ordered a large plain cheese pizza and told them twice not to cut it. Did they listen? Of course not—they cut it anyway and gave me a pizza that looked like a joke, not something I paid $20 for. The staff laughed at me, ignored my questions, and spent their time on the phone with other customers instead of fixing their mistakes. The store is disgusting—everything is dirty, filthy counters, no gloves, zero hygiene. I don’t know how this place is still open. Terrible service, rude employees, awful cleanliness, and a pizza that isn’t even worth a fifth of the price. If you value your money, your health, or your sanity—stay the hell away.

This location should be shut down. Put in a large order, tipped 15% ($25.00) and got: Frozen Mozzarella Sticks and 16 Fries. Called customer support and they said that they would submit a ticket and I would get a call back in 1 to 3 business days which we all know never happens.

We ordered for pick up Friday night for dinner, it’s says 35 minutes so I was checking the updates of my order before coming to the store, I received updates that my pizza is ready so I went inside the store and ask, the customer service told me to wait, turns out it wasn’t ready at all I got to wait almost 10 minutes inside the store, I don’t see any sense why send me update it’s ready when it wasn’t
Update dated 01/28/26 – ordered delivery and they always forgot my 2 Liter soda and every time I call they said they will refund but never happen and today they forgot again but when I call they hang up on me after calling back they put me on hold until I decided to hang up this place is a worst Pizza Hut ever un professional staff, this place deserve 0 star stay away.

First I must start by saying if could give them a zero I would. I should have read the reviews before placing an order at this Pizza Hut in Hackensack. Store # 036820. I usually go to the Pizza Hut in Saddle Brook NJ which I love they have great service and amazing staff, but because I was close to this one I said let me try them and I placed an order online for pick up. Well what a disappointment I ordered, the Triple Treat box 2 med pies, bread sticks and cinnamon buns.I get to the place to pick up my order and was met with a rude person no hello how are you ok! So I give her my name and she says you have to wait 8 minutes it’s not done yet. (Side eye look) So I finally get my pizzas which was ok the bread sticks tasted like they were not cooked all the way and I got the so called cinnamon buns you look at the picture and tell me if they are cinnamon buns? I told her this are bread sticks with cinnamon. She said no those are cinnamon buns I was afraid to give them back because I’ve heard horror stories giving food back so they could make it right and I just took them. This will be the last time I ever go to that Pizza Hut in Hackensack NJ. Service and staff suck!!!! Saddle Brook NJ Pizza Hut sorry for cheating on you and going to this one I will never do that again. Please read the reviews to any establishment if it’s your first time going! They don’t lie!

The pizza is as good as any other pizza hot I’ve had. Sadly, the service in this store is terrible. Every time and I mean every time I Oder from this store there is something wrong with my order. And when you call the store, no one answers the phone.

BEWARE: They call the police on customers who ask for refunds.
We never received our order, and when we asked for a refund instead of store credit, the manager, “John Valenzuela”, became defensive and called the police on us.
Completely unacceptable behavior. If you can’t handle customer concerns professionally or take responsibility for staff mistakes, you shouldn’t be managing a business.

I said i would never order from this place a day in my life after the first experience … here i am ordered a delivery and this location is picked for me !! … my order was canceled by the door dasher that had a difficult time processing the order with this store .. so i drove to get the order i got there and the food was just sitting there for over a hour … the manager that was supposed to be fired before is still there but he said here is 5 dollars for your delivery fee back and gave me COLD food with barely any cheese on the pizza and walked away … ohhhhh and my cookie was in the same box thrown in with breadsticks !!! Im confused
