The pizza and wings are delicious! And don’t sleep on the rice balls!
We were a little wary because the restaurant was dead on Good Friday, but we decided to trust the reviews and were so glad we did! The margherita is excellent and the buffalo wings were delicious. The rice balls were a nice addition—a little smaller than traditional rice balls, but they were really tasty. $12 is a little pricey for only three cheese rice balls, but we enjoyed them. The decor is a little eclectic, but don’t let that stop you from enjoying a delicious meal!

Pizza Heaven seems to be the new place in town. You know I had to try. It is right down the street from my go-to spot Federico’s. They have a dining room here and it is byob. We ordered takeout. The minestrone soup was delicious. The veggies still had a bite to it and it had strong tomato flavor. The fried chicken cutlet sandwich was a huge portion and just worked. The fries that come with it were crunchy and addicting to eat. The margherita pizza had a chewy crust and just the right amount of sauce/mozzarella. Pizza Heaven lived up to its billing! Will be back.

We were here on a crappy, rainy, cold, Saturday in early May. There was absolutely nobody in the shop, which is crazy, because this place is good. First of all, it’s byob, so that’s nice. The Fresca salad was amazing, which started with the champagne vinaigrette. Wood Fired wings were good. Had a few large pies and all were amazing. Penne vodka was good, but we didn’t feel it was the best value. Kids & wife loved the Nutella pizza and tiramisu. Service was great, although it’d be weird if it wasn’t, since we were the only ones here. My family will definitely be back.

Amazing pizza. Had the Arugula and La Amante pies which were both fantastic. The fried calamari with the hot peppers was equally as good. Didn’t get a photo as we ate it so quickly.

That crust!! What more can I say!? I love the Fresca salad as well as the pasta pomodoro. My sister still can’t stop talking about the meatball pie. Every pizza we have ordered, whether takeout, delivery or dine in has been mouthwatering. The place itself is low key, perfect for catching up and chatting, and the owner/chef and his family are so warm. We had a chance to talk a bit, and he was trained by a line of world famous pizzaiolas – mystery solved!

This place is perfect for groups and families as there is lots of seating and large booths. I ordered a half Mushroom and half Ortalano pie. The Ortalano pie was definitely the better side! The spinach, tomatoes, and long hots gave it a great flavor. It was really tasty! The Mushroom side I thought was ok. The dough was very good, and had a nice chew to it. I recommend Pizza Heaven in Belmar!
