I placed a delivery order that included two pizzas and a side, totaling over $50. One of the items I specifically ordered was a large stuffed crust pepperoni pizza. However, when the order arrived, the large pizza was stuffed crust cheese only, missing the pepperoni entirely.
I immediately called the store to report the mistake, and I was told that their system showed the order was for cheese. I know I selected pepperoni when placing my order. The employee offered me a $10 off coupon, but that was not an acceptable solution for a completely incorrect order, especially at this price point.
I then had to leave my home and drive to the store to have the pizza remade — which defeats the purpose of ordering delivery. I told the staff on the phone that I was coming, but when I arrived, the pizza hadn’t even been started. I had to wait another 20 minutes at the store, during which time the rest of my food — which I left at home — was getting cold.
To make matters worse, I witnessed a staff member take the incorrect pizza I had returned and put it in their personal vehicle, which is extremely concerning from a food safety and sanitation standpoint.
I am a loyal customer who orders from your location at least twice a month, and this experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. I expect better customer service, accountability for mistakes, and proper handling of returned food.
I hope that management will take this matter seriously and provide a response that reflects the poor experience and inconvenience caused today.
