A good Italian restaurant that does self service. You need to order your own food at the counter and take your drinks. The pizzas were good and not overly expensive and tasted very good. The tables are outside on the sidewalk so you have people walking right by you while you eat.

Easily the best pizza in Karlsruhe.
They have a good variety of toppings and you can even find a few vegan options. Every pizza is different and made with love. They have ready-made pieces for 3 to 5 Euro each or a whole pizza for 7 to 12 Euro. I recommend the ready-made pieces if you’re in a hurry as every pizza is hand made upon order and takes some time.
The pizza base is a bit of a controversial topic though. If you prefer it paper thin, then this place is probably not for you as they tend to make a rather heavy base. But if you do like a thick base, then you’re definitely not gonna be disappointed.

Dough base was good quality, but needed to be pre-baked before toppings went on because it is thick. Dough at top remained wet and undercooked. Toppings were not as nice quality (but I don’t expect much better in Germany), a simple margherita would have been the better choice.
