It’s a very Cosy little place run by an older gentleman. While it is a small place, there’s big time pizza goodness coming out of here. I won’t lie, I’m very picky with my food and almost snobby with the ratings, so when I saw this in the area I work, I decided at some point I’d check it out. The ordering is simple, and as soon as I did, he popped back in the kitchen and asked me to have a seat. Roughly 10-15 minutes, he’s prepared my pizza, put it in the box, cut it and sealed it. He told me I’d be back! I’m a believer! I get to support small business and eat this delicious pizza that I basically ate until it was cold, and even cold it tasted fantastic??? Give it a shot! This is easily the best pizza in Forney for sure!

I really enjoyed it!! Was nice and crispy and hot! Perfect size and all the toppings I wanted. You walk into the smell of handmade authentic pizza! I didn’t much care for the salad; lettuce and one wedge of tomato with a sprinkle of mozzarella, drowning in dressing, but I didn’t go for the salad. Love the food.
The place is run down and could use a good scrub down and new decor. The door was propped open and let in a few bees. It appears to be run by two older gentlemen, that are very nice and friendly. Reminds me of a pizza place I loved going to in highschool in Richardson, Pizza Villa.

Honestly, super disappointed in how thin the large crust was. Looking at the pics others posted, it looks like a normal pizza crust but when my hubby brought it home it was like a quarter inch thick. It was cold by the time hubby got it home even with our stay warm bag. Bummer.

Food was awful. Ordered 12 wings and a personal pizza. Wings were boiled, skin hanging off. Hot sauce was barely there in spirit. Pizza was on par with frozen pizza. Avoid eating here.

Review: Disappointing Experience at Grand Pizza Forney TX
I recently visited Grand Pizza in Forney and it was, without a doubt, one of the most unpleasant dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was dim and uninviting. The lighting was barely functional, casting strange shadows on the old, mismatched furniture. The decor felt outdated, neglected, and borderline creepy, making it hard to feel comfortable or enjoy the meal.
Speaking of the meal, the pizza was a major letdown. The crust was terrible and undercooked, the sauce tasted overly sweet and artificial, and the toppings seemed far from fresh. It lacked flavor and care, which was surprising given their reputation as a local spot.
Service didn’t help redeem the experience either. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, adding to the overall eerie vibe of the place. If the goal was to create an atmosphere where customers couldn’t wait to leave, mission accomplished.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality meal or a pleasant evening out. There are plenty of better pizza spots around that actually care about the food they serve and the ambiance they create. Unfortunately, Grand Pizza in Forney was just not it.

Had such an amazing experience at this hometown pizza restaurant. They’re been in this town for over 40 years and they still make great pizza. The owner was extremely friendly and was able to make me a deliciously crispy pepperoni pizza, very different from the pizza places in town. Definitely a place to try, wish this place was bigger… it needs an updo, however up can see the history in this place. Truly a forever favorite.

We picked up Pizza Grand for a girls night and it was delicious!! Perfect crispy crust! We also had the garlic bread and it’s a can’t miss. This is a great family owned business, they were so kind to our group and we can’t wait to come back!
