Pizza Fresca

I walked by this place the other day and was reminded of the time I stopped in here to eat over the summer. Impressively, I would say this is the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. It’s the first place I’ve been to that’s managed to make pizza actually disgusting, it made Chuck e Cheese look like a Michilen awarded Italian establishment. It was legitimately like walking into a third world country, filth and rubbish everywhere; however, the food was worse than what you might find in the developing world. There were flies everywhere, both the front of the store and kitchen. It was dramatically filthy; I give mom and pap holes in the wall a lot of leeway in terms of general sanitation standards, this place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in 20 years, the walls and ceiling covered in some sort of mold as well. It was a site that would actually make a health inspector kill themself, and it’s beyond me how they would ever pass anything. The guy didn’t speak English, which was fine, but the slop was pretty expensive. The worst food I’ve ever had was not cheap, I spent almost 30 bucks on some pepperoni sticks and wings. It was a greasy mess, and I was too disgusted to make it past the first few bites. Perhaps if I didn’t see where it was made, it would have been better ? The whole thing, It was just truly shocking to me, because I feel like I see people in and out of this joint a lot, but everything about the place is truly repulsive. Ironically if you were trying to avoid food poisoning or something that would hurt your stomach, I would skip Pizza Fresca and just get some ethnic food from the other strip mall takeouts nearby.

I’ve enjoyed their pizza several times and this is my first review. Just wanted to share how much we’ve enjoyed it every time! They have been consistently excellent! Want to mention how much we’ve loved the Cajun pasta with chicken …the veggie with added pepperoni is my go to for pizza. All the veggies are fresh and crisp and they never scrimp on the toppings. The dough is above average and I wish the owner would tell me how he makes the sauce! Tastes fresh and homemade and not from a can!
The service is great, the food is always hot and fresh even when we’ve had it delivered. And thanks for being available at 330am for those late weekend nights!! Prices are very reasonable for the quality, service and delicious food. Oh and don’t forget to order some
Dessert!! The Oreo pie and cheesecake are sooo good and you can’t beat their prices!! I’ve included a pic of my fave veggie pizza with pepperoni which prompted my current review. If you’ve never tried them please give them a try! I’ve had others that charge a lot more and get more word of mouth that have been a disappointment…but Pizza Fresca deserves your business!

Ordered this from GrubHub. My God. Thick crust…. toppings were insane. I’ve never seen a pizza place that put this many of the selected toppings on their pizza. Delicious. Honestly we are shocked at the flavor and amount of toppings on this pizza. We have a new favorite place to order from in Columbus.

I tried the bbq chicken & chicken jalapeño pizza Best pizza had in a long time The crust was perfectly crispy. The sauce had just the right amount of tanginess, sweet and the lots of toppings.best pizza man and best service. The service was also top-notch friendly and attentive. Highly recommend

Omg guys my pizza didn’t make it I was supposed to take a picture but it barely made it home lol , hands down one of the best pizzerias in Columbus .. anytime I order pie I always get extra cheese !! It’s so not nesc here .. they are not stingy with the toppings by far and that TASTE … simply amazing!! I just happened to be searching pizzeria near me and this did not disappoint at all .. give em a try !! 9/10

Great takeout pizza place! Found out this is Piccola Pizza on DoorDash and decided to pick up, amazing high quality pizza and mozzarella sticks, the inside and cleanliness could use a bit of work though but that’s what makes a pizza place better
