Unfortunately, my experience at Pizza Express was far from enjoyable. Here’s a detailed breakdown:
Pizza:
The pizza was a big letdown. It was overly cheesy, to the point where it overpowered the entire dish. The toppings weren’t fresh or flavorful, which made the overall taste quite bland and unimpressive. It’s not what you’d expect from a place with so many positive reviews.
Service:
The service was below average. It was slow, and the staff seemed inattentive to customer needs. It didn’t feel welcoming or professional, which added to the overall disappointment.
Ambience:
The ambience left much to be desired. The space felt uninviting and poorly maintained, lacking the charm or coziness you’d hope for in a pizza place.

Stopped in after someone recommended it and didn’t expect much since it’s a small spot, but it really surprised me. The pizza was great, and the Greek oregano on top gives it a really nice touch. Super friendly service too. Definitely a hidden gem.

The pizza is so amazing. Light golden brown crust, just the right amount of sauce ,fresh cheese and plenty of toppings.
Also, they make great subs.
Oh….the bread is so fresh!
Never a disappointment here. Consistent everytime and they are lovely people.

I’ve been living in NH for a little over a year now and I’ve had Several sub sandwiches across the state. This place made me the BEST toasted Italian sub I’ve ever had. Highly impressed and will def eat here again! They also have REAL Philly’s!! Not those “steak bombs” everyone in NH seems to rave about. I tried one elsewhere, and they are not a good sandwich. Sorry not sorry.

I wanted to like this place. Service was fast, professional, and friendly but the pizza ranks in my bottom two. Having lived all over the country that’s saying something.
The cheese was twice the thickness of the crust and bright white- looked almost raw. It had a weird sandy mouth feel. The crust had okay texture but was flavorless the sauce was limited and sour. We had a pepperoni pie and it was barely any pepperonis meanwhile the pineapple was overflowing. The cheese really was the killer though. Cut back by 2/3rds Minimum and upgrade it to something with a nice melt point and mouth feel.

Since finding Pizza Express we go nowhere else for pizza or subs. The food is always fresh and delicious. Toppings are generous. No matter how busy they are, we are always treated cordially and wait times are very reasonable. There have been some unique surprises (garlic lovers and Brazilian to mention a couple) and we look forward to exploring more on the menu. Thank you, Paris and family!
