The nicest couple own & run this restaurant. Even though it’s named Pizza Express they have a variety of items on their menu- I personally love their catfish dinner. They serve large portions at a great price. It is Take-Out only as the inside diner isn’t open but this is my favorite place to order from in Houston. I also love the fact that it is locally owned. I highly recommend this restaurant & when we have a family get together we order from here, they offer large orders of chicken with sides & of course their wonderful pizza.

The waitress we had gets 4* but other the that I really didn’t like this place. First we ordered an appetizer of garlic and cheese bread which came out finally right before our pizza we ordered. It was bland and tasteless and doughy. No garlic flavor that we could detect and while the cheese was visibly there have no idea what it was couldn’t taste it. We ordered a deep dish bacon and cheddar large pizza. It had bacon and cheese but tasted burnt. The crust was over crisp and just a bit buttery. Plus if it was deep dish I’m Elvis I’ve picked up Wal-Mart pizzas thicker then this. Won’t be going back likely but the waitress did a good job overall so if she reads this it wasn’t your fault.

As far as taste the pizza was ok, but I had the deep dish and I wouldn’t quite call it deep, especially for the price. My girlfriend had the pepperoni and it looked ok, she said it was “ok”. Environment was a little wierd, sort of felt like I was eating in a reporpurpsed church with a gift shop in it. While there wasn’t explicitly negative about it, next time we’ll just be going to Pizza hut.

EXCELLENT PIZZA!!! We drive an hour and a half just for this pizza. The crust is really thin and the sauce is great. You must stop by and try if you are in the area.

45 dollars for two larges and what they call cheesey bread was ridiculous. The cheese pizza tasted terrible and wasn’t even made with mozzarella cheese. Never again when we visit will we be eating there.

They have reduced hours and closed the dining hall because of covid, but this is by far the best pizza in the county. It’s worth calling in and ordering your pizza for pick-up
