…Now, our local Favorite!!!
The Crust is Crispy/Well-done and the Dough is Airy. The Sauce, neither too salty nor too sweet. Completely Quality Products, including Gluten-free options and a Build Your Own Pizza for kids.
For those of you who know, I’m one of Google Review’s Top Reviewers, with over a half a Million views. Look out for some New Items Coming Soon, to blow your mind (Hint: A real Bensonhurst Brooklyn favorite L&B Style).
Ask for Nico, and tell him Boca Dave sent you.
This last visit I ordered a large plain cheese pizza. The quality was consistent, as it always has been. The staff appears stable and well organized, and the open kitchen lets you see everything being made, which I appreciate. It’s also a nice place to sit and eat, with a clean and comfortable dining area.
Overall, the pizza itself has been very good. I have nothing negative to say about the food or the operation. I love and appreciate small businesses that are not changed or franchises, so good job Pizza district.
Where I do agree with other reviews is on pricing and add-ons. The base prices are already high in my opinion, and then there are extra charges for things like additional olive oil and extra sauce, which the business justifies by saying they use “expensive” ingredients. That may be true, but charging separately for basics that most people consider part of a pizza experience feels excessive.
Pizza everywhere has become expensive, and because of this I’ve significantly reduced how often I order pizza compared to previous years. So while Pizza District is not out of line compared to other places, I do think the general trend of rising prices and nickel-and-diming for small extras deserves criticism. Just because everyone is raising prices doesn’t mean it’s a good practice especially when it comes to charging extra for small add-ons.
Bottom line: great, consistent pizza and a well-run place just be prepared for premium pricing and additional charges for things that used to be included, or that are included at many places outside the Boca market.
The staff is friendly and welcoming every time I go in, and the service feels personal, not rushed. It’s one of those spots where you can grab a quick bite or sit down and enjoy without any stress.
If you’re in Boca and craving great pizza, this place should be at the top of your list. Highly recommend!
I came in with my husband and 2 children and upon trying the garlic rolls, we knew we were in for a treat with how delicious they were. We ordered a large cheese pizza – which was hands down what we all agreed on, was the best and biggest pizza we’ve ever had.
The owner was so so kind.
We will 100% be returning!
Edit…
I went ahead and edited my review after seeing the owners response. I was hungry and excited for pizza district and was extremely disappointed when the girl in the phone refused my order. What I recommend is better coaching to your staff instead of saying “we don’t deliver without credit card payment anymore” maybe something like “Unfortunately we switched to a 3rd party delivery service and that delivery service is unable to take cash payments” I personally am not a fan of all these business going cashless these days. You guys really do have great pizza and while I prefer to order and tip and cash. I understand now. However I am interested to see with the rumors of Florida making it illegal to not accept cash bill passes.
When I called, they didn’t seem to care or even listen. The manager showed no interest in resolving the issue. The owner later delivered the pizza himself, and I tried to respectfully let him know what had been happening, assuming he might not be aware. Instead, he said he already knew and there was nothing he could do.
Very disappointed with the treatment. After years of loyalty, they’ve lost a customer.
