Okay. No pictures because I ate everything too fast. This place is heaven for vegetarians and carnivores. I eat meat, but ordered a mushroom slice and a tri colored grandma slice (homemade pesto, ricotta, tomato sauce). It was incredible and filling. Came back my next day in office and ordered the Vodkaroni (the sesame seed crust has a nice umami)—I thought the slice looked like it maybe was too saucy but it was perfect! I ate everything by hand and did not make a mess. Also had a grandma slice of mushroom. So, so good. Your grandma doesn’t make pizza like this. This is the only place now. I only have eyes for Pizza Dada in the loop.
Also should note, I have a pizza oven, pizza steel etc, I regularly make my own thin crust, Detroit style pizzas, and travel to New York for business several times a year for work and always grab a slice there—so I’m kind of a pizza snob. Trust me when I say Pizza dada is the real deal.

Slice spot with the best crust this new Yorker has ever had in Chicago (and most NY places too). Premium ingredients and crisp flavors that pop – and speaking of crispiness, they should sell the crusts all on their own they’re so good.
The sesame crust on the vodkaroni is one of the best bread bites I’ve had, reminding me of sesame sticks and also bagels. Do not throw these away!

Freshly sliced mortadella and soppressata elevate these amazing slices, and the Caesar salad pizza is such a crisp and refreshing bite and complement to the richness of the vodka and pesto on the grandma pies that would make my nonna cry with joy (God rest her soul)
Pretty sure I closed the deal that made my quarter because he wanted to try one of the garlic knots. Not only do I now have my go to lunch spot and best slice in town but a promotion thanks to pizza dada

The pizza was really flavorful, the dough was nice and crispy, the pepperoni and cheese also had amazing flavor. The customer service was great, the owner greeted. Definitely coming back, more than once.

I’m visiting Chicago for work, and I stopped into this spot while doing a happy hour with my coworkers. The NY-style pizza was fantastic. It had this crispiness to the crust and a slight charred flavor that only added to the complexity. The pepperoni and sausage on top were well-flavored, and the pizza was, importantly, clean. It was a lot less greasy than other slices I’ve had in the state, and I was appreciative of that because it felt cleaner and it sat lighter in my stomach. It was refreshing; it was soul-warming, and it was delicious.

Started out great, but has quickly gone down hill. They can’t keep up with a lunch rush. Pizza was very dry and poorly covered by the cheese. Ran out of pepperoni at Noon! Too pricey for poor quality. It’s great if u can get a well prepared slice, but too much a crap shoot on how well prepared it is day by day.

Very legit pizza slices. Had the tartufo, great crust and flavor (did wish it had something tangy, like pickles onions or a citrusy element, but it was still excellent) and supreme grandma. The grandma was super crunchy, outstanding tomato sauce, lots going on. That slice is a winner. Definitely recommended.

I lived in NYC for 15 years and now in chicago for the past 13 years. So i know genuine NYC pizza and I know chicago’s pizza scene. Pizza Dada is not only authentic, but delicious, and one of the very best slices available in town. I highly recommend!
