Very good pizza & garlic knots! Both are huge & much cheaper than other places. Delivery is quick & the staff are super friendly. Highly recommend!

First off in Florida, I never eat out at an Italian restaurant because I’m Italian and I always compare the food my mother, my grandmother and my family cooked against theirs and I would always be disappointed. When I was told we were going to an Italian restaurant at first, I was not excited. But in NY, are you kidding me? This place is incredible. The hot bread and olive oil yummy. The pasta e fagioli is delicious. The chicken parmigiana was fantastic, juicy, and extremely flavorful. The portion sizes are big, but it is wonderful because you can eat the leftovers whenever you want, and it is just as good! Yummy

Alex is a great owner and chef. Most of the food is delicious. I love the Italian Wedding Soup, Garlic Knots and variety of Pizzas. Penne Vodka and Linguini with Garlic and Oil.

One younger waiter always gives excellent service. He is quick and very polite too. He has worked there for years.

I was annoyed by another waiter recently (a bit old school) He obviously can’t handle his work load. He also asked me to move my car, while I was eating. I wasn’t blocking anyone. I think his name is SM’ELIO

There is always a parking problem. And another customer mentioned, “That was very unprofessional while you are eating.

I am a long term customer and bring food to my 90 year old mother.

Alex needs to address these concerns. Delivery service is good too. Good luck in 2026

It pains me to leave this review…. We have been customers of pizza cucina for many years.  Through the years, the food has been excellent.  Our most recent experiences, though have us starting to look elsewhere…

Recently, we had ordered a penne vodka chicken pizza that historically had been amazing – this time it was flavorless and pretty bad.

More recently, we ordered two pizzas and chicken fingers… One of the pizzas and the chicken fingers were significantly overlooked, crunchy – not good.

We did call, and they were gracious enough to resend the items – the chicken fingers were fine, the re-sent pizza was raw (with a “lightly cooked”) not on it… It almost felt spiteful.

I think it might be time to consider other options in the area.

I came in at opening around 11 am and asked for a couple slices of pepperoni, pointing at the freshly made pie in the display case. As I was waiting for the slices to heat, I returned to the counter and noticed that the pie I pointed to was still pristine – no missing slices.

It turns out the server (who wasn’t the friendliest and really shouldn’t be working up front) added pepperoni to day-old slices and stuck those in the oven instead. When I asked about it, he shrugged me off explaining that the pie in the display case was for another person’s order. No offer to correct the miscommunication.

I should have turned around and walked out the door. Instead I paid for and ate the day old pizza … which tasted like day old pizza, hence the one star.

Nice customer service each and every time you can sit outside on the patio and they never messed up my vegan pizza gluten-free crust and I visited this place once or twice a year and always been very happy with my vegan option even though there is no cheese but I like the vegetables they’re cooked and it’s not burnt it’s not mushy it’s not soggy and it’s better than other places that have tried. I love how it comes with its own cutter so perfect works out for me because I don’t like my pizza cut in the first place, I just wish that it had more vegan vegetable choices and a cheese choice at least one.

Pizza Cucina has been our favorite place to go.! We been going for a quick slice of pizza and also for some fancy and delicious diner.! I have seen many reviews saying bad things about this place and their employees, i I can honestly say that when we started going we didn’t like how loud they were and me thinking they were yelling all the time but my husband said they are Italian they speak like that they are not being rude,we continue to come here very often, my teenagers go there a lot of times after school and one day my daughter forgot the money at home and the guy at the counter told her that it was ok and not to worry about it.! To me that was really nice of them, and what can I say about their food? IT’S DELICIOUS.! Always fresh and tasty, this has been and will be our favorite place ☺️

This used to be one of my go-to spots. I came in, ordered a chicken roll, and sat down to eat. The owner made a comment saying, “Don’t forget to pay me or I’ll remind you.” I acknowledged him and continued my meal.

A short time later, he approached again and asked for payment. I hadn’t finished eating yet and had left my wallet in the car. Once I was done, I went out to get my wallet. I also left my cellphone on the table, clearly indicating I was returning to pay.

When I returned, the owner confronted me aggressively about paying. I explained that I wasn’t done and asked him not to speak to me in such a manner. I told him, “Please stop harrassing me about the money; I’ll pay when I’m finished.” This seemed to upset him. He then came out from behind the counter, pointed his finger in my face, and said something along the lines of, “You’re going to show me some respect or there’s going to be a problem.” There was foul language involved but google won’t publish it.

I didn’t appreciate being spoken to that way or having someone point their finger in my face. While I might have chosen my words more carefully, I still felt the situation was completely unnecessary, especially over a small bill.

At that point, I stood up and told him not to get in my face. He then loudly demanded I pay and “get out of the store,” all while families and children were present. I asked him if he thought that kind of language was appropriate in front of kids, but it didn’t seem to matter to him.

I paid at the counter, and a couple of employees did apologize as I was leaving.

This situation could have been handled in a much more professional manner. I’ve always paid for my food and have been respectful as a customer. While I understand that businesses need to ensure customers pay, the aggressive behavior and language from the owner were completely unwarranted and disappointing. Unfortunately, this experience has led me to take my business elsewhere.
