Stopped in and had a couple beers while I waited for my pizza and jalapeno poppers.

The bar is underrated based on the indoor outdoor feature I kind of liked that I feature for ambiance.

Both the pizza and the jalapeno poppers were both good when I got them home for dinner.

2nd try. And it’s just bad pizza. Even tried a specialty pizza – the Thai chicken. The chicken is a bizarre texture of the precooked rubbery breast strips and the bacon was gummy. And it wasn’t cohesive. Pineapple and peppers and all the other pieces/parts just fell off each slice – as there wasn’t enough cheese or sauce to hold it together.

Our server was great. And we decided not to complain about the food. Deep down I knew better than to come back. But it had been years since I was there just shortly after opening. There are too many other pizza places doing far better work for me to ever give this one a third go.

Food is great. Service is slightly subpar, but everyone is on their last straw right now it seems. I come here with friends often

I passed through the Columbus area, and a friend I wanted to link up with suggested the Pizza Cottage as a possible location.. Since it was a “new to me” venue and the reviews were good, I agreed..

We opted to dine on the Tipton Tavern side of the establishment at the bar, and aside from some initial misunderstanding with the bartender about how I desired my beer to be prepared (in a frosted pint glass with a salted rim), things went reasonably well..

We sampled an order of five wings tossed in hot sauce and served with ranch and celery, and followed those with a medium pizza topped with a double layer of pepperoni and a single topping of sausage..

The wings had a great flavor, but they were served a little less than hot (temperature-wise).. Despite it, they were amply sized, and the hot sauce had a good flavor.. The three pieces of celery weren’t exactly crisp, either..

The star of the night was the pizza!! A thin, crispy crust despite the copious piles of pepperoni on top.. A nicely seasoned sauce, a good layer of cheese, and piles upon piles of uncured, crispy, cupped circles of pepperoni goodness with decent-sized crumbles of sausage sprinkled around..

The pizza packed more pepperoni than I expected, but I’m not complaining!! I would definitely recommend Pizza Cottage for the pizza alone, though there are plenty of other menu offerings to be had..

Oh, and I should note there was live music there tonight.. I didn’t catch their names, but it was a couple (an older fellow playing guitar and a gal playing an electric bass while both did vocals), and they were really good.. They offered a mix of genres, and their audio levels and arrangements were fantastically not overbearing.. Just easy on the ears and enjoyable throughout the selections they played while we were there..

All in all, I’m not at all disappointed with my first Pizza Cottage & Tipton Tavern experience.. I’ll definitely return on a future visit to the Columbus area!!

Came here with a friend and 6 kids after an OSU hockey game. Always hesitant to go places with that many kids, but this was a fun place to go and the service was great. There were large booths where we could put all the kids and a table for us to sit nearby. Pizza was great. Comparable to a good tuin crust pizza you’d find at a dive bar. I recommend giving this place a try!

Try it. You might like it too.
Pizza Cottage hits the spot for my family’s taste in pizza. Thin crust, cheesy, lightly well-done. We visit somewhat regularly. The staff is friendly and courteous. It is clean and well-maintained. Prices are reasonable. Parking has never been an issue.

Since Pizza Cottage took over the old Ruby Tuesday, we decided to finally give them a try. So, they darkened windows which is actually nice. The decor is nice and the TV at certain tables is different but interesting. Our server was nice. He had to give us more time because only 1 of us had eaten there before. So, we got the jalapeño Poppers for me which were so good. Just a bit spicy but not that bad. I will definitely order them whenever we decide to go back. Potato skins were ordered but I didn’t have any. I got the chicken Philly pizza ,no onions but kept the green pepper slices and mushrooms. It was really good! This will be my go to pizza for here. My son got a meat pizza which he loved.
It was a nice dinner with really good food and good staff as well with no issues or mess up with our orders. All in all? This is a place worth looking into and trying at least once.

I ordered pizza for delivery. After waiting more than half an hour past the promised delivery time, I called to ask about it. They told me they had no drivers and couldn’t deliver the order. And nobody contact me about it.

I got into my car to pick it up myself. While I was driving, I received a text saying the pizza had been delivered. I stopped and called my wife to confirm, but nothing had been delivered.

I picked up the pizza myself and asked about a refund for the delivery fee and tip. I did not receive any refund.

Terrible experience.

It was really odd, their “special pizzas” were just $20 but if you wanted just pep and cheese it was more. The waitress tried to stay on top of things but she appeared to be the only one there and it got busy pretty quick and then the wait time took forever to get a to go box, to get your bill, to get a refill. Also they had the game on the radio but not on any of the TV’s so when an exciting play occurred we couldn’t follow along on the screen.

We ordered a pizza but I did not realize it was going to be the thin, cracker like crust. My fault. They did load us up on the toppings so definitely a plus. We dined in, very clean inside & staff was super nice. Would try again if they have a thicket crust pizza.
