My family and I went to pizza cottage for dinner last night. This had been the first time we have been there in many years. I have to say it was very disappointing. We ordered the breadsticks and they literally looked like hotdog buns with cheese melted on top. The pizza was ok but it took over an hour to receive it. There were only two other tables in the restaurant most of the time we were there. While waiting for our food an employee from the kitchen came out to get a drink. His clothes were filthy and his pants were falling down. He kept pulling them up. I work in the food service industry as a part of a management team and I would never allow my employees to dress that way. All I kept thinking about was him pulling his pants up while cooking food. This is a major sanitation issue. Our server gave us ok service but he didn’t check back as often as he could have. The last time I was at this restaurant I remember I wasn’t happy with our visit. Our second time at a Pizza Cottage, first at this location. After our first experience, we weren’t sure we’d be interested in trying it again, but I’m glad we did. The Newark location was an excellent experience! Our server was attentive and our food was hot and tasty. If we’re down this way again, you might just see us again! Thanks!

I’m attempting to place a pick up order over the phone I can not do the automated system bc it won’t let me subtract and substitute items on my pizza and to top it off I ask EVERY time for my pizza to be well done blackened Burt I’ve said all of those terms multiple times yet every time I get it the veggies appear to be fresh as in just cut up or opened whatever ya want to say crust is all soggy from the juices from the veggies so I tried to call in once again and SPEAK to a human and yet everything I was transferred it would go silent for a moment then just hang up on me 2yrs ago I loved the pizza I would at least order 2 times a week no problem Burt crispy or how ever ya want to say it now I can’t even get a human to tell them I was it Burnt it’s horrible customer service and beyond frustrating

The parking lot has lots of space very open the dine in area is very spacious, multi tvs for entertainment inside is clean & well kept. The server was Theo he was decent timely service nice attitude I had a Philly cheese steak sub (half)although it was a bit dry I added ranch & mayo to it, surely made it better.

This was my first time and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I loved the food! My boneless tenders with spicy garlic sauce on the side were the best I have had in a long time. The sauce was amazing; not too hot and just the right amount of butter buffalo with garlic! Chefs Kiss! The pizza was really good too; as I had bacon and onion and I really enjoyed the thin crust vibe of the pizza crust. The seat yourself was nice so you can pick your dine in preference and the service was great! Right on top of ordering and getting drink refills and I really appreciate that! The price is reasonable and fairly affordable as my party of 2 ate good for less than $30. We then tipped 22% Thank you for a 5 star and 2 thumbs up experience. We will be back to eat when in Newark, OH for sure and we highly recommend you do too!

I absolutely love this particular Pizza Cottage which is located in Newark Ohio. I cannot count how many times I have been there and my order has been correct and the people are always friendly and the food is always hot and fresh.
Your pizzas are out of this world in flavor and size and your barbecue chicken wings are my absolute favorite, bar None. When you go to the Pizza cottage, you are paying for quality so they are not the cheapest, but I will tell you this.They are one of the best that I have ever had.

Stopped in for a gift card. Stood for a few minutes and was never acknowledged by anyone. I realize people are busy, but if you can look right at me, you can at least say that you’ll be with me in a minute. More than one person looked at me, but never said a word. Had to drive elsewhere to get what I needed.

I ordered my items through Doordash. When the dasher arrived, she had all of my items in a heated delivery bag. After she left I noticed I had a missing item. This is the 3rd time I have been missing items when I order from them. I called the store and spoke with the manager. Who was rude, condescending and did not take responsibility for the missing item. He tried blaming Doordash and Ai explained she had my whole order in a heated delivery bag. And he didn’t care. He was very unprofessional and lacking accountability.
