Reviews
The crust was the first thing that stood out — perfectly crispy on the outside with that satisfying chew inside. You can tell it’s made with care, and it gives their pizza a solid, flavorful base.
I also tried a slice of their Buffalo Chicken Ranch pizza, and it was loaded with toppings — juicy chicken, a nice kick of heat, and that creamy ranch to balance it all out. Every bite had flavor, and they didn’t skimp on anything.
On the side, I ordered the Cajun fries and left a note asking for them extra crispy — not only did they follow it, but they nailed it. Super crispy, seasoned well, and a great portion size. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to be that impressed by fries at a pizza spot, but they delivered.
Add in the fact that the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience just felt easy and enjoyable. For the quality you get, it’s a great value, and I’ll absolutely be coming back.
If you’re in or around Natick and craving a great slice (and some killer fries), Rocco’s is absolutely worth a stop.
Take out only. Pizza was expensive, I was charged $4 more than what was on the menu and the pizza was missing toppings. Ordered the Chicken Parm Penne Pizza and got basically just a regular pizza with a couple of pieces of fried chicken.
Disappointing because not only was it more expensive than I initially thought, I did not receive what I ordered and the owner did not offer even a partial refund or even a can of soda.
It was OK, but I wouldn’t come again
Every time we have been in there or called, we’ve been greeted warmly and engaged in great conversation. My kids love the pepperoni pizza. Freshly made and Crispy crust, quality pepperoni, and the perfect cheese to sauce ratio. The veggie pizza has fresh veggies and is crisp and yummy.
There is no place to sit and eat. However it’s a great place for take away and it makes it worth your while with kind smiles and a great meal.
It gets busy on Fridays. Give the place time and order in advance.
The good
The food here is fantastic, it is undoubtedly one of the best pizzas that I’ve ever eaten. My family was amazed with the product. It was a very special meal because of a family situation.
The service once I arrived at the location was very good, in fact once I placed the order in person it was quickly completed and the person at the counter, I believe mamu was the name; brought it out to my car.
The bad
A family member has ordered ahead and sent me on a mission to pick it up. They sent me the screenshot of the order, with the order number and the order contents.
When I arrived, they had no idea about my order. They couldn’t find it by name, they couldn’t find it by order number. As I stated above once I arrived in person they were able to correct this. The really bad part about this was it took an extra half an hour or so, after an already long drive from the other side of Ashland close to hopkinton. So probably 25 to 30 minutes each way, plus an additional 30 minute wait time.
The ugly.
So what I learned after I returned home, somehow the order wasn’t manually confirmed in their order system by the restaurant; And so somehow it got lost and possibly canceled I don’t know. What I do know after talking to the person of the counter is they use a POS system called slice. After researching the system, it’s greatest advertised asset is that you have to confirm the orders to make sure that they’re accurate. That’s great except an online order you have no dialogue with the customer. They order it, and then they show up 20+ minutes later.
The implication, if the restaurant does not confirm the order it gets dumped into nowhere and the customer suffers. And apparently the restaurant has no idea of what happened…. They could not find anything about the order, which actually processed a credit card.
Contrast that with a modern POS system like TOAST, when an online order is completed a ticket gets printed right in the kitchen and goes to the actual operational folks on the cooking line.
My suggestion to this restaurant, if they want to survive. Update their POS system to something that will actually help them instead of hurting them like their current one is.
Why am I even being this detailed in my review?
Well I noticed other people had the same problem in their review, they showed up and there was no order for them.
Based on my experience here, the people that own this and the quality of their products is top-notch. They are really suffering from an operational inadequacy by their POS technology. A simple tweak could help them scale, have better customer service, and probably improve their revenue as well.
I got the 14” La Mystica pizza which was perfect for 2 people and would definitely get again. Pizza had a perfectly cooked thin crust and was not oily unlike many pizza places. Even with a white sauce, I didn’t feel bad after eating it because it wasn’t heavy/greasy. They came to check on us halfway through and noticed they forgot the balsamic glaze on top. It was so good we didn’t even notice. They were super apologetic and took the other half in and added it. It was great without the glaze and even better with it.
I noticed this dish wasn’t on the online Slice ordering website, so I’m not sure if there are some dishes you can only get by calling in/ordering inside.
the crust is perfectly crispy, the sauce tastes homemade, and the toppings are always fresh and full of flavor. Every bite tastes like real Italian pizza right here in Natick, MA.
