I usually get pizza from there and its really good. Today I got 2 regular pie and it dont taste good not even the look wise its not same as used to be. I dont know whats wrong today is somebody new making these pizzas or absence of the owner.

I am from Hershey and every time I come to Scranton, Pizza By Papas is a Must stop. The food is all excellent, the staff is wonderful and the vibe is fantastic. We were there today and had the tuna sandwich, and it gets better every time. My husband loves the Pizza, my kids eat with pleaser the chicken and fries. The food is very good, high quality and the location is fantastic. We did sit outside and enjoyed the city views. We had the Cassata desert and would encourage everyone to go and try this restaurant as it will not disappoint. A Must in Scranton!!

We needed a place for a last-minute rehearsal dinner for 15 people, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. Everything was amazing the pizza was delicious, the salads were generous and fresh, and the service was outstanding. We’re so grateful for how welcoming and helpful they were. Highly recommend! Don’t forget to get a cannoli delicious!

Second time in a week the Dunmore Mock Trial team was welcomed by Pappa’s to eat and prepare for our trial. The food was once again delicious, affordable and finished in a timely manner. And the staff is so friendly, we will surely be making this a yearly tradition. Thanks for everything!

My husbands family wanted to go here this pass Friday for old memories… it was my first time!! We ordered a tuna, an eggplant, cold cut grinder with an onion topping and plain pizza. My onion pizza was burnt and onions were very soggy. Tuna grinder tasted very plain, eggplant sauce was bitter and the cold cut grinder was the worst, meat was very slimy, too much lettuce and tomato. Employees were joyful. Pretty pricey and 4/10 food quality …. Good luck.

Probably the worst pizza I’ve had. Everyone has their own opinions. Meatball sub was so grossly soggy my hand went through the bun. I would never go back. Plus I thought they were pricey. Service got a poor review even though you get a number and grab it from the counter. The subs and pizza do not come out at the same time leaving your subs sit on the counter for a while. Some I saw 10 minutes. Its a definite nope from me.

I’ve been eating Pizza by Pappas for a good chunk of my life and during my last trip to Scranton I grabbed some lunch, and some extras to bring home. The food still tastes fantastic, just like the first time I had it, and the service was quick and cheerful. By the time I finished a couple of games of pinball my order was ready & everything was packaged well. Upon arriving at my families for lunch the meal was both correct & still hot.
The take-and-bake pizza I brought back to Philadelphia with me traveled well & finished cooking with no problem (400° for 5-10 minutes). Even without the pan it still keeps its signature taste.
