Delicious pizza and outstanding service. They make 12” personal size pizzas that can get cut into 4,6, or 8 pieces. We got 3 pizzas-veggie, cheese, and margherita (not pictured)- cut into 8 pieces each. Perfect crust. Amazing dough. You don’t feel heavy after enjoying a few slices. Great for family style/sharing.

It’s in the San Pedro market!!

Must try
Margarita
( 12’’ enough for a quick snack for 2 people)

The vibes were amazing. San Pedro has live music on weekdays. The pizza didn’t take that long to make and tasted so fresh and good.

Their ranch dressing is a must try with the pizza. Loved it so much.

Overwhelmingly average pizza. Also was almost too soggy to eat, and I sat down right at the bar there and ate it. Lacked flavor, salt. The end crust was good. I rarely leave my pizza unfinished, just couldn’t get through the last slice and I was starving.

I was in town with Hairlip Larry and his equally impressive sister Helgamay for the Round-O-Rumba Tournament at the Goosehobbler Auditorium, and we parked in the huge parking garage right across from the Pizza Bocca Lupo Pizzeria…What luck! It was Helgamay that suggested we walked over to Pizza Boca Lupo where each of us can get a pizza or two! And …That’s when I realized I wasn’t playing with amateurs! The Hairlip had two pies, and I managed to eat about half of mine…but that Helgamay whopped down four pizzas and then woofed down the rest of mine, and then without hesitation chased it down with a pitcher of diet coke..right out of the pitcher! I had two thoughts come to mind..#1 Helgamay is sure to win the Round-O-Rumba, and #2 that pizza from Ouzza Bocca Lupi was amazing!
5 stars for sure! ☆☆☆☆☆

I like this spot when I need to pop in and out for a quick meal. I particularly love their lunch special of half a pizza and a salad, which for me is just about perfect.

They do a great job on Sicilian style pizza, counter ordering is fast, efficient and sufficiently friendly; the cook level is just about perfect; and they get the food out quickly even on busy nights. The ingredients seem fresh and good quality, and the work area behind the counter seems clean. This is San Pedro Market Square so it’s very casual shared seating and bussing with the other businesses.

Google asks if parking is difficult. I usually walk or bike here, each couldn’t be easier with the BikeLink lockers in the adjacent parking garage. When I drive, parking is always available in the Market Street when I go. I think it can be more challenging on event nights.

The pizza itself is solid—brick oven style, and I was happy with the taste. But the experience left a bad impression. They charged $1.49 for a tiny cup of ranch—really? I get that it’s a premium location, and prices are naturally higher, but this felt like a rip-off. Final price was $21.19 for a veggie pizza

There are plenty of other food options nearby, so with that kind of nickel-and-diming, I won’t be giving them my business again. Good pizza, but not worth the attitude behind the pricing.

A fresh hand made to order pizza and live music

Great Wednesday. 10/10 recommend.

I eat a LOT and had to skip on the last slice. Don’t tell the other ninja turtles.

Pizza Bocca Lupo is without doubt about my favorite pizza places in the Bay Area. Great sauce and toppings on top of the most delicious dough crust you could find… ❤️

Located at San Pedro Square Market, it is a great place to go with friends or family, so many options to choose from so everyone can get what they like best. I usually get my pizza here and pick up a drink from Urban Ritual to enjoy alongside it.

This time I got their Joe’s special pizza with sausage, mushroom and mozzarella. They are always very efficient and friendly with their service.

There is plenty of seating, both inside and out, with music and a couple of great bars as well. On many days there will be live music outside on the stage, especially during the summer. During the winter musicians will play inside one of the bars.

Sitting outside is really nice during the summer, it feels very communal, the tables are comfortable, and if you have kids they really enjoy running around and exploring the place while you might simply enjoy listening to the music when it’s playing.

There are great options for dessert as well around the plaza, such as Mochinuts. This pizza place as well as this whole plaza are highly recommended for a good afternoon or evening out.

Stopped by here today for a late lunch. I’m in San Jose for a conference this weekend and decided to walk up to the San Pedro Square Market. There were a number of interesting food vendors in the market but I decided to check out Pizza Bocca Lupo. The guys were very friendly and recommended the lunch special. My lunch special was a half of a Joe’s Pizza and a half salad. They did not skimp on any of the ingredients. The salad included arugula, Gorgonzola, dried cranberries, and a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The Joe’s Pizza included mushrooms and sausage. All of the ingredients were top-notch and it was all done in less than 5 minutes. I couldn’t ask for anything better for a quick lunch. All of that and the total including a diet Coke was less than $18 including a tip. These guys know what they’re doing. Definitely check them out!
