This was my first visit to Pizza Bene. It was recommended to me, and I decided we would try it. We ordered a large cheese pizza, chicken tenders with buffalo and ranch sauce on the side & french fries. I will lead with the positive aspects. The staff was super friendly, very upbeat and nice.
The french fries were really good! Cooked nicely, crispy outside and soft middle. The chicken tenders had a good taste, but they were either overcooked or reheated. The chicken was very dry. The buffalo was good, and there was no ranch. The cheese pizza was inedible. It was burned, and hard. It was extremely thin, and had no flexibility. I don’t know any other word to describe it other than inedible, my family all tried & it was horrible. Unfortunately due to this we would not try this pizza place again.

Amazing food especially the “For the love of meat” pizza!!! The owner and staff were AMAZING to my large group (10 people) that showed up 3 minutes after the kitchen started closing. They served us with a giant smile and kindness. This will be my spot each and every time we are in the area!

EDIT: My previous review was with the old owners… This place used to have, by far, the best pizza around. I used to oreder their pizza every Thursday night like clockwork. The quality seemed to go downhill over the last couple years, as if they stopped caring. I heard about the new ownership so decided to see how it is.. I ended up with a pizza soup. I am literally eating this disaster with a spoon right now. Not impressed and I won’t be back.

The pizza is awesome and the owners and staff are very friendly. Everything is super fresh and home made. Always great conversation when I grab a beer and wait for my food. Although i have yet to be disappointed by any pizza, i highly recommend the new england garden pizza.

We had a roasted veggie and artobella pizza (ricotta on top). Both were really good, not greasy at all. Our server was friendly and attentive. Would definitely go again if we’re in the area.

Consistency is everything in the restaurant business. Or at least it’s a lot of what makes people think about coming back. But I am not IN the business. However I do enjoy their pizza. Most of the time. My last pie was different than my previous 3 or so. Didn’t taste good, was greasy more than usual, and a bit under baked. Approximately 3 pies ago my pizza was burnt . They do have the best pizza in Bristol I think (unless I am missing out somewhere) so I will still return.

Being a diabetic the service was terrible. We waited for two hours for our pizza. Very unacceptable. Then the chief starts complaining to us the customer that she’s all alone and has 23 takeouts in front of us. Lacking food no lettuce to make a salad, no sausage after the order was accepted, no meatballs for the pasta diner. One pizza had to go back because it was so cold. Poor food inventory services. You need two chiefs and a manager. Unless this organization makes changes I would not recommend going there.

Stop what you’re doing. This is the best pizza in NH. Everything about this pizza is as fresh as you can get. My friends and I always get the Margarita pizza and all the toppings are seriously as fresh as you can get, REAL fresh cheese and real fresh tomatoes and fresh leaves of basil. Delicious. I don’t usually write reviews but ever single time I order ANYTHING from this establishment it is seriously the most authentic and delicious thing I’ve ever eaten. 10/10 recommend. Don’t even bother going any where else. So so so delicious.

WAS my favorite place in Bristol until the new owners arrived. Quality seemed to change overnight I heard they let go all the talent that was there. Last couple of years we got pizza to go and it was great. A month ago I checked online their hours and it said open till 10:00 pm. We went in for a sit down meal at 8:25pm and was told by the bartender they stopped serving food at 8:30pm. I started to leave and realized it wasn’t even 8:30. I went back informed the bartender it wasn’t 8:30 she got angry threw two menus at a table and in a belligerent way said okay then I’ll cook your food! We looked at each other and both quietly agreed no way she is cooking for us. She stormed out the back door of the place and I asked at the register to speak to the owner!!! I was Informed SHE WAS THE OWNER…..All I can say is good luck to anyone who crosses that threshold….we will never be back…

this is my first time ordering from here, I’ve heard great things but I did not expect how wonderful it was! Not only was it an adorable atmosphere, but the lady behind the counter and cooking was kind and friendly and cooked a dang good pizza! We ordered pizza and fries for takeout and both were hot, and delish when I got home! Please make sure you tip even with takeout! It makes the world of a difference! Thank you!!
