Frist time trying the pizza and it did not disappoint. Good flavor and perfect bake. The crust had a nice balance between crispy and soft. The sauce was slightly sweet but not overwhelming. Good cheese, not oily. Friendly staff and chill vibes.

We drove from Albuquerque specifically to try out Pizza Barn pizza. It was worth the drive and we were not disappointed. The pizza was overall fantastic. To appease my vegan tendencies, I had a vegetarian pizza with no cheese. It was loaded with clearly fresh vegetables. The crust was perfect and the tomato sauce was some of the best I have ever had. Even without the meat and cheese, it was absolutely delicious. We also ordered some more traditional pizzas with pepperoni and green chili and a hawaiian pizza. The pizza was excellent! There is plenty of seating inside the restaurant on a sunday at lunchtime. There was plenty of parking. There is beer available on tap. The staff was friendly, professional, and attentive. The restaurant was clean and inviting. I would highly recommend this restaurant and we are looking forward to eating there again inn the future.

We stopped at this Pizza Barn just off I-40 in Edgewood. It had just opened for lunch. I had the Calzone that was very good, my wife had the hot wings. She said they were very good and seasoned perfect. The place was clean. The only draw back was the bathroom was really wheelchair friendly. We would eat here again if in the area.

We had to stop at Pizza Barn again. We wanted to let out daughter try it. Pizza and wings were great as always, but our experience was much better than last time, so I’m upgrading my rating. Staff was much more helpful and friendly.

We often like to stop in on a road trip back home. The pizza is absolutely fantastic, and today was no different. I love having the option of a non tomato based sauce since I have a tomato allergy. The ingredients are always super fresh. I really love this sausage and the big chunks of mushroom and chicken that they put on the pizza. Everybody is usually friendly and helpful, but it can take a while to get the pizza. Pizza this good is worth the wait. Today seemed extra long, about 30 minutes. Then, the girl who brought our pizza, couldn’t find us, even though the number was on the table. We tried to get her attention, then when she spotted us, she rushed by, basically throwing the pizza at us and saying, “sorry”, without stopping. She almost didn’t get it on the stand correctly. I called after here wanting Parmesan. She looked quickly at the tables, then not seeing any, said she would be right back. She never did return, so we ended up getting it at the counter. Never had this kind of service before. We’ll be back, and hopefully things will be back to normal.

Stopped by on our way back from an out of town tournament, we grabbed our pizza through the drive thru. The crust is soft and a bit crispy, the toppings could be cooked a bit more and a bit more cheese so they stay on the pizza would take this review higher. The staff were extremely friendly and considerate even with being slammed! I would definitely stop again and this time order extra cheese and well done crust and I think it’s a 5 star visit.

I came in because I saw on Moriarty Flash News that Pizza Barn won the most successful pizza parlor in the world award and wanted to see for myself. Moriarty Flash news was RIGHT! Awesome service, best pizza in the East Mountains by far. Worth the wait and every cent. 10/10, thank you!

Our favorite stop on the way back to Albuquerque from the Midwest! Excellent, flavorful sauce, delicious crust with a crunch, lots of cheese and we had it with pepperoni & green chile which were plentiful and delish! Yum!

Good crust, not mind blowing, but definitely good. Sauce is low acid, decent flavor. Topping are generous and fresh tasting. Cheese is a hair over average, which is just fine. Would heavily recommend the South Mountain.
Note: the menu item “large extra cheesy breadsticks” is, in fact, made on their large crust. I did not expect 16” round of breadsticks, and I will be eating them for the rest of the week (not upset, they’re also pretty tasty).

Folks are competent and friendly, was told 20 minute wait and I was there getting my food by 17 minutes, so wait time is minimal.

Haven’t gotten beer from them, can’t comment on freshness, but selection is classic and addresses multiple different tastes (dark lager to cider and, unfortunately, an IPA).

Would recommend.

The pizza was hands-down some of the best I’ve ever had — perfectly crisp crust, rich and flavorful sauce, and generous, high-quality toppings. Every bite was fresh and delicious. You can really tell they care about the ingredients and preparation.
