I park my yellow bus to eat the best pizza in all the state of Missouri, is delicious like a pizza in Venice in Italy or Veracruz in Mexico.

Over all, great food and good service. Came in at the end of a rush and our fried pickles were a little over cooked, it was noticed, and we were immediately asked if they were ok and if not, if we wanted them replaced. They replaced them quickly and our pizza followed and was delicious. Server seemed a little
Overwhelmed at times but the owner is amazing and food fantastic! Definitely recommend!

Good pizza, good beer. Prices are average. They carry KC Bier Dunkle which is a great local beer. Good selection of pizzas along with other choices for those not wanting pizza. Recommend this casual place that has friendly staff.

Went in around 6:30 on a Sunday night. Maybe 3 other tables. Took forever to get our drinks and order. Was never offered a refill. At 7:50 our pizza came out. We had asked for jalapenos on half, the whole thing had jalapenos. When we asked for another small pizza to make up for the half without jalapenos, we were told that the ovens were turned off for the night. Turning off the ovens before 8 even though they close at 9. The pizza is good but the service and experience ruin it. New owners, same problems.

Great food and drinks. Greg and Brian are both very friendly and will make your visit worthwhile. Totally handmade pizza is their claim to fame. Real meat and cheese, fresh vegetables with handmade dough and a custom sauce recipe puts their pizzas as #1 in the area. The BBQ smoked wings are becoming the ones to try. Don’t pass it by as you head south on 7 Hwy. Setting right at the southern Blue Springs City limits sign.

There’s good and bad about the new owners at Russo’s. I’ll start out with the good.
They make good drinks with nice pours for bar liquor.
People are friendly, meaning the new owners.
You kept the Russo’s name. Very smart.
Now the bad.
You changed the pizza recipe and said it was the same. Russo’s reputation was thin crust. Why you left and went to the regular crust is beyond me. I can get this kind of pizza at Little Ceasar’s for 5.99 with huge quantities of toppings. Very little saugage toppings on my pizza from Russo’s.
I believe you guys have great potential. Don’t blow it. No one around here had the thin crust like Russo’s.
I have another suggestion for you if you want to respond.

I really enjoyed my supper there. The atmosphere was very loose and comfortable. The owner and employees made sure we were well taken care of. Ordered the large pizza and it was large. This will be a place I will frequent in the future

Twice now our order been screwed up. First time they dropped my mother’s pizza, gave us 5 different excuses. We tried again tonight and they screwed up the order again after us waiting an hour for our food. All they wanted to do is give excuses. And then got hateful when we got up to leave. Also witnessed one of the managers, heavier set guy drinking alcohol while working. We will not be back and do not recommend any one to go here.

I’ve been wanting to try this little hole-in-the-wall for quite a while. I’ve literally driven past it a hundred times. So, a few weekends ago, as we will do on Friday nights, we decided I’d drive up the road and get a to-go order.
Good thing too, as it’s a smoke friendly place. Yes, it seems to be a bar first and foremost. But, my wife would’ve been kinda ticked to walk in and find out there’s smoking allowed. We tried Fun House Pizza (Raytown) a little over a month ago because of the karaoke we thought that would be fun for the kids (okay, and me) and the karaoke stuff was in a back “smoke friendly” room. It didn’t go well.
Anyway, Russo’s has the stink of cigarettes from the moment you walk in. And, while it doesn’t bother me so much, it’s going to be unbearable to sit there and eat if you can’t stand smoke. But, that is absolutely not a deal breaker kids.
The staff inside is super helpful and friendly. The pizza is, bar none, killer good. I love Waldo Pizza and we’re lucky enough to have one here in Lee’s Summit, but Russo’s is really really good. And, it’s super reasonable money wise.
I highly suggest you check it out if you are like me and have driven by it thinking you’d like to. You won’t be disappointed.

The burger special with tots was amazing! Better than the $15 burgers I usually eat. The pizza we ordered was cooked to perfection with plenty of toppings. The staff is friendly and attentive.:. Impressed!
