Pizza Americana has never failed to make every visit enjoyable. The employees are very nice and provide excellent service. The menu offers a wide variety of options. The prices are very reasonable, making this pizza shop a great choice for a regular meal or even for special occasions. I highly recommend this pizza shop to anyone who is local to Scott/Carnegie/Heidelberg or surrounding areas!
I personally recommend getting the Italian calzone, but if it’s your thing.. replace the red sauce with white sauce. Tastes amazing and it’s our go to every single time!!

Always looking to try a new pizza place and this place was really good. We ordered 3 pies – pierogi, plain cheese, and walk around the garden (onion, green pepper, and sausage).
The crust is good and so was the sauce. The pierogi pizza was pretty good too! I would have like a few more toppings on toppings on the walk around the garden but overall I had no complaints about this pizza. We will definitely order from here again!

Hands down the best deluxe steak hoagie I’ve had. The steak is cooked well, no gristle, and tastes great. It has mushrooms, onions, and peppers which are all fresh and a great accompaniment, and topped off with fresh provolone cheese. They put lettuce and tomato if you want it. I always get a side of their delicious house made ranch. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, professional, and efficient and the restaurant is always clean. If you haven’t had this steak sandwich before, I highly recommend you give it a try. Their pizza is very good as well as many other menu items. Thank you!

I order from this place all of the time ! And today was just a horrible experience! They forgot my small pizza, then said they were bringing it back. Mean while it was for my children I ordered my food at 345 and it’s damn near 530 and still have not received my pizza. Also I got two cheesy breads and the were both uncooked though I got extra cheese and it was just the un cooked dough I was eating !

We got a meatball calzone, NY style pizza, and hand tossed pizza. Of the 3 items we had, my favorite was the meatball calzone. Of the 2 pizzas we had, we preferred the NY style pizza. However, the hand tossed pizza did have its appeal. The calzone and hand tossed pizza bad a very doughy profile that was very nice — it tasted very fresh with a high gluten protein content; very nice. The NY style pizza was much different, but had a very desirable sauce/cheese/crust matrix. The service was excellent, the employees were awesome and friendly, and the order was ready in very little time late at night, where most other places were closed. I highly recommend this place.

The pizza here is very good. It has the perfect combination of sauce, cheese, and crust, for a balanced taste. Today we got the large Pepperoni Supreme. If you like pepperoni, you will love this pizza, but it may be a little overwhelming for everyone else. The picture is of 1/2 of the pizza.

Dough was soft. I like mine a lot more crunchy.
I’m new to eating pizza and I don’t like bread so this wasn’t crunchy enough for me to take away that reminder of it being bread/dough.

Very expensive for toppings. I think it was $1.25.
