We love having Pizza 51 in Olathe. The ability to customize your own slice is such a great option, especially when everyone wants something a little different. The pizza always comes out nice and hot, with fresh ingredients and a perfectly cooked crust. Service has consistently been quick and friendly. It’s a solid local spot that we’re always happy to come back to.

Love the open concept of the kitchen! Exciting to watch the food be prepared.
Decor is great.
Noise level is acceptable and right on par with everywhere else.
Casual- super casual!
Temp inside is perfect! Not too cold, not too hot!
Service is phenomenal.
Watching the trains go by is a highlight
My warm Italian Sub was great with just the right amount of heat. (You can order it hot or cold).

Pro: pizza was good and the decor was cool. Lots of room. Waitress was friendly. Good selection of pizza, calzones and salads
Cons: you have to go up and order your food and drink at a counter and then they bring it to you. Very limited beer menu. They use plastic silverware and the paper plates they bring you for your pizza are extremely flimsy. Chairs and booth benches are hard.

This place was fun. They have taken an old gas station and kept with that industrial theme throughout. Even the trashcan in the bathroom was an old oil can. The pizza was great. You order at a counter when you first walk in and then sit in one of the bays. We each got a “pizza slice” which is the size of a small pizza and customizable. Crust was slightly crisp on the bottom and toppings were generous. We had a college student with us and he loved it.

I love when a restaurant repurposes an old local building and Pizza 51 is located in an old auto shop in downtown Olathe. You order your food at the front counter and they deliver your food to the table. The three of us each ordered an individual slice and all agreed it was delicious. I love the thin, foldable pizza loaded with toppings…dipped in ranch. Really good ranch 9/10. We sat outside on the patio where thankfully there were covered parts to keep us out of the sun. Overall pros and cons: great pizza, unique building in a cool location / it took longer than expected to get our food and kind of expensive for three slices of pizza ($25) with no drinks. Pizza 51 is a very welcome addition to downtown Olathe and we will be back.

Hands down the best pizza in the area. Having grown up in NY I tend to be picky about the pizza I eat. These had a nice, crispy bottom, a thin crust but a great pillowy crust. The sauce was a wonderful mix between sweetness and acidity and not too heavily seasoned. Importantly, the pizza was not at all greasy like I’ve seen others around town try their hands at NY style pizza. My kids loved it as well!

This place is fun! They have sandwiches as well as pizza. Italian beef was legit and they will do it wet or dry (additional dip in jus) with hot peppers and jus. You can get a massive slice or individual pizzas. Old gas station with cute renovations and dedicated parking. We ordered at the counter, and then it came out to us. We had cocktails and beer, and the servers have handhelds if you want to order more while you are seated. The meat pizza was great!

This place is amazing! They have whole pizza’s and by the slice. Their slices are GIGANTIC! One slice is enough for one person. The atmosphere is great they have oldies playing, and kept the old garage feel! Definitely coming back!

This ambiance is awesome. I love the wait time sign at the register. If you’re on a schedule, you know. It was a great side salad and loved that I could get a slice. My spouse and child were able to share a pizza and have leftovers. It didn’t rate 5 stars for two reasons. The cheap paper plates and plasticware are not conducive to pizza and horrible to the environment. They obviously have a dishwasher for the SS salad bowls (super cute) and pizza trays. I get is an old gas station vibe, but it’s 2025. The big drawback is no serving utensil for the pizza. The pizza came straight from the oven with molten cheese on top. While cut in the kitchen the cheese had melted all back together. What did we have to get the pizza off the tray, our heat sensitive fingers and a plastic fork/knife. It is absurd for a pizza shop to go the extra step to have the elevated pizza holder but not have a safe and sanitary way to serve the pizza.
