Today was my first time at Pizza 501, due to a coupon in the Attractions Book. First: their lunch special options are varied and fairly priced. They had soup options in addition to sandwiches, entrees and of course pizza. We chose the Eggplant Parm and Chicken Parm entrees. They were made fresh to order, served hot, and both meals were delicious! Sauce was sweet/flavorful, pasta was perfect Al dente and the eggplant was tender. Portion size was just right for lunch. Atmosphere was pleasant, clean, and comfortable. Staff was friendly. We will absolutely be back. A+

Went here for the first time on Friday December 12th 2025 with my mom. For dinner that night, we decided on pizza and decided to try here. We were able to order online and pick it right up, which is convenient. We ordered as follows, a Cheese Pizza pie, spinach mozzarella roll, chicken parm roll and Veggie calzone no mushrooms. Price wasn’t bad either. Not too long after ordering online, the store calls and politely states that they were out of the spinach mozzarella roll and offered us another chicken parm roll instead. I loved the persons pleasant demeanor, while also offering us a replacement that we were satisfied with. We then went to pick it up, and it was ready for us by the time we got there. We walked in, and it is a bit of a small place, with a few tables to eat and sit down at. Person at the counter was very pleasant, and easily got our order for us. Oh, and also we can clearly see that they were out of the spinach mozzarella roll, as one can see it on the front counter, along with other pizzas and rolls! Went home and ate our pizza, which was delicious and definitely tasted like NY pizza! even the veggie calzone was delicious as well! I didn’t try the chicken parm roll though, but my parents liked it! We all enjoyed our food and will be back to try more pizza and more items soon!

Went for dinner on a Saturday night. We ordered a Boss 501 Wrap and a sausage & peppers Roll. Both were very good. “The food would be a 10 out of 10 if they had a good ranch”(a quote from my spouse), which is not a big deal to me, but for “ranch people”, if you know you know. The only drawback, for me, was our food not coming to the table at the same time. I waited about 5 – 7 minutes longer than my spouse. There are 8 or 9 tables with a flat screen TV on the wall in a small, clean dining area. The staff was really friendly, but an added person at the front could really help when they are busy. We will definitely be back.

I had their white pizza and it was very delicious, I would definitely get that again, but the bolognese looked nothing like the picture and very tasteless,and hardly any meat,i had to put half a jar of garlic granuals from off the table and parmesan to give it any flavor. Homemade sauce is supposed to be cooked down and cooked for hours. Asked the lady at counter questions and replied, I dont know, served us our food with silverware but no napkins and she told us where to get the napkins, hmmm Not too impressed. Go for the pizza mine was delicious.

Went here for probably 10 years under the old owners, and it was great. Now that it is 501 Pizza, I have tried it 5 times. Best way to describe the pizza now is a sheet of paper with 6 pepperoni for the whole pie. It feels like they skimp on every part. Got 3 pizzas recently, and I felt like if all 3 were combined, there would have been enough sauce, cheese, and toppings for a single pizza. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after 5 chances, I don’t think it is a one off mistake.

It’s a small place tucked away in a strip mall, but the food is absolutely delicious. The pizza was hot and had fresh toppings. We also had the mozzarella sticks. They too were hot and had a good pull. The marinara sauce served with them was the best I ever had. The young man who waited on us was very friendly and attentive. Great experience.

This joint reminds me of back home. Authentic NY style thin crust pies. My only complaint was they were a little conservative with their tomato sauce, but with that said everything else was great. Will try their other menu items in the future. Recommend these guys to all the Yankees out there.

So the food is excellent, my favorite subs. I only get take out. My problem today, March 2, 2026, is that their prices went up 22.5% apparently since I left my house. The $10.99 subs still listed that way online, are now $13.47, so $30 with tax for 2, and then they request a tip even for take out.

Hidden gem. Was down for a quick trip to the area. Had been next door in the Food Lion to pickup things for a few days for the condo. Decided to get a couple of quick slices. Didn’t have any pepperoni ready but without hesitation offered to make some. Came out fast, fresh and super tasty. Girl working the register was awesome, friendly. The storefront was clean, well lit and I’d totally eat in any time. Only negative is I should have got a whole pie! Will for sure be back.
