The food here is AMAZING!!! BEST salad I’ve had in a looong time. The pizzas are absolutely delicious as well.
The only complaint I had was when we were in it was a little on the chilly side. Guess that’s just winters around here. Can’t wait to check it out on the summer time.
We’ll definitely back very soon.

I actually didnt go in, I only had the pizza while drinking at Queen City Brewing. But the pizzas ive tried here were all SO good.
The “Doug’s Marvelous Maple” was very different but it was even better than I expected. I live far away but I hope to come back and try more of their pizzas.
Ive also have the brussle sprout and red onion one and also the thick crust caprese ine (i forget the names sorry!) They were both excellent. We also tried rhe meatballs which were delicious.
Different flavor combinations but also good familiar ones too. A great place to go and ti come back to.

Very good pizza. Dough is excellent, well-fermented flavor, cooked in a hot brick oven with a nice char, not too thin, not too thick for our taste. Nice to get a 16″ brick oven pie at a reasonable price. We had the “Mickster:” pepperoni, sausage, tomato, mozz, ricotta. We had it delivered, but we’ll be back in person sometime to get the full hot right out of the oven experience.

Great pizza. Be ready to wait. But awesome pizza. And they walk it over to the brewery next door. Yeah!!!

Overall I would say this was a 3 star experience. We enjoyed our pizza and salad but the meatballs were not great. The space was very clean and the decor was nice and modern. The shared bathrooms with Queen City were clean and we appreciated the general neutral aspect and the baby changing mat. We found it annoying that they did not have a beer list, so we were trying to read the taps while people were waiting impatiently behind us. The worker was a little unsure about which beers were on tap. Even a handwritten list or a quickly typed up paper would have been super helpful. There were tons of employees, maybe as many as customers when we got there, so it seemed like someone could have done that easily. The main thing we found completely obnoxious was the lack of high chairs. We’ve been all over town all week and this is the first time this has happened to us, even at small breweries that barely had any food we found high chairs, so to walk into a pizza place and be told they don’t have high chairs is completely baffling. We only came here because our kids were hungry and other places we wanted to go weren’t serving dinner yet. In hindsight we should have just waited. It wasn’t terrible, but with so many other wood fired pizza options in the area, we wouldn’t bother going back.

Nice place to grab a bite with friends or family, or by yourself. There’s bar seats where you can watch the staff make pizza, which is pretty cool.
Garlic bites were meh, kinda dry and flavorless. The margarita pizza was delicious. The angry grandma was just ok for me, not my favorite but others in my party enjoyed. Caesar salad with Brussel sprouts were delicious, prob best item of the night!

I’m an out of state reviewer but I’ve just about had all the pizza here in my one month stay and I keep coming back here. Their crust isnt completely black on the bottom. It’s just the right amount. They are a little pricey but to me, it’s worth it for the quality. I got the margherita pizza and CYO. Both were excellent. Good selection of beverages as well. Garlic knots were SUPER garlicky but also very good.

Tried pizza 44 for the first time a couple of days ago and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it is. The pizza was cheesy, the pepperoni was nice and spicy, and the crust was well cooked. I think the crust is the most critical aspect of a good pizza and Pizza 44 had a nice, crisp, wood oven crust which was appreciated. Too often are pizzas loaded with toppings and the crust is a soggy, floppy mess ruining the pizza. That is not the case at Pizza 44.
I tried some of the wings also, but was underwhelmed with the texture. The skin was mushy, but the flavor was good.
Overall I really enjoyed my experience getting a pizza from Pizza 44.

My partner and I have been going here for a while now, since before the new ordering system was put in place. I feel that while the food is still great, the service and experience have really dipped. They get our order wrong frequently, whether we order on the kiosk or face to face, and the process for pickup vs. dine-in is confusing. We’ve accidentally ordered for pickup when we meant to dine-in a few times now. I’m also disappointed to see them using AI generated images for their kids coloring pages. Y’all really can’t use the plentiful amount of free-to-use coloring pages available online without generating some crap? Come on.
