Glad I stopped by to learn more of this eatery located on Jasper Ave near 90th Street, right by the pharmacy and what was once a post office, this unassuming spot delivers more than you’d expect. What used to be Liz’s Café is now home to Pizza 42 and Donair — a unique combo that actually works. Being someone who grew up with Indian cuisine, I felt right at home here. The spices, warm and familiar, and the dishes with a homemade quality that hit the spot. Whether you’re in the mood for a curry, donair, or even a slice of pizza, there’s a little something for everyone. I snapped a few photos during my visit — the colors and aromas speak volumes. A huge variety of drinks too – alcoholic and non alcoholic!!

Not very happy with the food here, ordered a couple of pizzas through uber eats. Ordered three same toppings for each pizza, apparently pizza cook can’t read, I ended up getting a wrong topping on both pizzas and to get it sorted out through uber eats was a complete nightmare!!!!!!! I wouldn’t waste my time here again, this was my first time ordering here.

They don’t know what is PIZZA, I ordered large donair pizza with extra cheese $19 menu price she lied $22 extra $3 for extra cheese. Charged me $25 which is okay she wants to lie and make extra $3. I would give it as charity. But when I reached there’s no extra cheese. I called only to hear she added extra cheese normally cheese is little bit of cheese, I was like what ? She continued pizza is little cheese and she thinks cheese on pizza is extra and tried telling me she gave me extra pop, which is however on the website it’s 3 cans with large pizza. This place is a hidden gem, their food is always delicious. Everything I’ve tried has been great, but their butter chicken, pizzas and burgers are my favourites. The owners are super kind. Open late and easy to get to.

I order pizza, wings and fries often. Always excellent quality. Crisp, fresh veggies for toppings. Good meats and cheeses, etc… Anything deep fried has great taste, they must freshen the cooking oil often. I don’t have a sweet tooth but my pals are always extra happy with the desserts. They have a huge selection of all kinds of in-house desserts; one of their specialties. And they sell beer and liquor. I’ll try their breakfast menu next for sure. 5stars, 100%.

This is the worst donair I’ve ever eaten in Edmonton or at all.
There are a lot of mixed reviews here. I’ve had donairs all around the city and ordered here twice late night after work. Both times waiting 20 minutes for the food which were both times awful.
The sauce they use is not donair sauce but just mayonnaise, soooo gross! They smear it all over and the donair meat is overcooked and rubbery.
I was so hungry that I ate mostly the meat on the donair but all the while I felt like throwing up. I don’t like to waste food because I came from India where some people don’t get enough food. I know I won’t get recompensed and I definitely don’t want any substitution.
I won’t be eating here ever again. Twice bitten …third time definitely avoid forever.
Warning to any late night hungry patrons. So not worth it.
