I stopped by the &pizza in Alexandria recently and had a solid experience. I ordered the Maverick, and it didn’t disappoint. The crust had that signature crispness, and the ingredients tasted fresh, making it one of the better quick-fire pizzas I’ve had in the area.
There was a small wait when I came in. Overall the service was efficient. Many people came in to pick up online orders as well. This shop is located right across the AMC, which makes it a great place to grab something to eat before or after a movie.

My son encouraged me to return to this location recently. I ordered a pie for us to share. I stayed away from the knots. The pie was delicious with a decent amount of toppings. I noticed that they have new staff members with great energy. So, I decided to improve my rating a little. I will return to check the vibes and order knots with hopes that they will live up to the Potomac Yard and Arlington Blvd standards. I hope I will be able to give them a higher rating and remove the awful knots pics.
I have ordered twice from this location. It would have been three but, the employees were dragging their feet hoping the other would help me. I just left that night after having to fight the door to open and let me out. Today was the 2nd time the food was less than mid. My Garlic Knots were soaked in butter and super thin, not fluffy like other locations. What’s up with &pizza? They’ve gone downhill. The food and experience used to be great. Now, every location serves up poor customer service and low quality pies and knots. I asked for a replacement credit or a refund and all I received was a generic auto-statement that they’re sorry about my experience. &pizza must be struggling because they are in the business of just taking the money and running. They no longer focus on quality and customer experience. That was when the food was great. I don’t know if the owner is a bad boss or &pizza stopped valuing their staff. I used to be able to taste the love in my food. I guess I will use my points then, delete the app. This location was my 3rd and final time trying to give &pizza the benefit of the doubt. I do miss the locations I used to live near. None of the Alexandria locations are good. They suck; especially this one.

Service was good. It was kind of great but My drink was missed, I explained 5 times that My order was dine in, when I wanted another item, I had to go back to the order station.
This wasn’t a problem but the Pizza that was ready wasn’t placed in the warmer, so it sat out for 3 orders and got cold. When it was 3 ft away from the warmer. I didn’t think too much of it but I saw other orders get placed in the warmer. While other orders were being taken during the time My pizza was sitting on the counter. Other than that everything else went smooth, it was a cool dining experience, It would have been better if I didn’t have an annoying phone call, hope that didn’t offend anyone. The restaurant was clean, staff had great attitudes. Maybe it was the Baltimore accent I have?

We arrived at the store about 5 minutes before 9 PM last night with my family of five. There were no other customers in the restaurant besides us. One employee was working and appeared busy but completely ignored us. We stood there for almost 10 minutes without any acknowledgment,no greeting, no “I’ll be with you shortly,” nothing at all, as if we weren’t even there.
Eventually, another employee came out from the back looking visibly upset and aggressively asked what the first order was. Only then did the first employee suddenly start talking and helping him, which was surprising considering she had ignored us the entire time.
To make matters worse, the pizzas we ordered were very poorly made. The toppings were extremely skimpy , barely anything was put on them. Overall, the service was rude and unwelcoming, and the food quality did not match the price or expectations. This was a very disappointing experience, especially for a family visit

Food is good. Service is okay. Seems like they are focused more on talking on the phone rather than helping the customer. It is as if they are being bothered by having to work. The music is way too loud. You cannot have a conversation in there. I couldn’t wait to finish to run out. It’s not even ambiance music but loud rap. Not my cup of tea. Better to order for take out but eatimg in would be cool.

Shawnta here at this location was amazing. Upon ordering, she greeted me and my boyfriend with outstanding energy! She made getting pizza an experience! She’s helpful when ordering and gives very generous suggestions when placing your order. She also makes your pizzas neatly and I’ve been to &pizzas where nothing is proportioned and it’s a mess. Her position here should be elevated! Is she a manager? If not, she should be!! I Will be back!

I walked in around 10:20 p.m., and the employees didn’t greet me—just looked at me with an annoyed expression. I asked if they were open, and the lady rudely pointed to the other side and told me to stand there. My wife and I were confused, thinking maybe they were closing soon, but I checked and saw they were open until 11 p.m.
When I placed my order, she threw it together carelessly, and any time I asked for a small change or different ingredient, she rolled her eyes. The whole experience felt unwelcoming and disrespectful. I was really hungry, so I went through with my order, but I’ll never be coming back here again.

Let me start by saying the food and the service at this location 9.9 times out of 10 would rate 5 stars but today’s experience made me rate them 2 stars (The pizza was still delicious). I walked up to have my pizza made and the young lady making the pizzas locked eyes with me with no greeting and just waited for me to explain to her what I wanted. She was slinging ingredients left and right with no regard to proper placement so that you can attempt to enjoy a combination of flavors in each bite. Someone that does not take pride in themselves, their work, or the company they represent should reconsider their line of work. Maybe is was poor training. The next gentleman who completed my order did an outstanding job. This experience will not keep me from coming back but &Pizza should know this is going on because the rest of the crew at this location is doing an amazing job.

They stopped using fresh dough .. the crust is harder. Now they are also very light on the cheese. The employees were pleasant but I don’t like the pizza anymore.
