We loved it so much we ate dinner there 2 nights in a row. The meatball calzone was incredible! The pizza is delicious without being greasy. The owners, Tony and Melissa, were amazing. My husband was so impressed Tony remembered his name from an earlier order. It gets busy so get there early.

I called in an order and was told 40 minutes. To be reasonable, I waited the full 40 minutes before even driving over. When I arrived, there was a line out the door.

To be clear: phone orders are NOT prepaid — everyone still has to pay in person.

Since I had already ordered by phone, I stopped an employee who was walking food out and asked if phone orders that should be ready already had to wait in the line. She told me yes, go to the end of the line.

So we did.

After waiting another 40 minutes, we finally got near the front, only to watch multiple people walk straight up to the counter, shout that they had phone orders, and get helped immediately. The cashier told these people stand right here and i’ll help you next.

That directly contradicted what we were told.

At that point, I spoke up and explained that we were also picking up a phone order and were instructed to go to the back of the line. If anything, we should have been next. Only then were we acknowledged.

I paid (and even tipped, trying to be a decent human), and then the cashier tried to locate our food. She could only find the pizza–which barely looked cooked–and couldn’t find our wings. Her solution was to “throw some in” and for me to wait until they were done. 80 minutes after our order was placed……..

You’re telling me there are piles of completed orders sitting there, but you can’t spare a cooked order of wings and remake them for someone else? That made no sense.

At that point, I asked to cancel the entire order and get a refund.

The OWNER came over, showed zero interest in hearing what happened, offered no apology, no explanation, no empathy, just processed the refund and walked away. I’m not even confident my tip was refunded.

Bottom line: this place is chaotic, gives conflicting instructions, rewards people who cut the line, and does not care when they waste over an hour of your time.

If more than two people are in line, don’t even bother.

Such good pizza! I was surprised at how much I liked their pizza! My fave (so far) is the Trolley Dodger. They have a thin, crispy crust perfect for picking up and eating while chatting. A huge screen plays epic sports shorts (skiing, snowboarding, mtn biking, etc.) while another screen has regular sports (baseball, football, etc.) It’s conveniently located right next to the Giant Steps slopes so we always eat there after a day on the hill (or for lunch). I highly recommend it!

I visited the only pizza spot in Brian Head with my boyfriend, ordered four slices of pepperoni. The slices came out cold and the crust was hard, with toppings that tasted cheap. We asked if they could warm the slices, the counter lady said they’d have to throw them away, my bf said to do whatever they have to do, we wanted fresh hot pizza, she had a very bad attitude, make him feel like it was our fault or something. After some back-and-forth, she pulled slices from the same pizza, reheated them for about four minutes, and handed them back with a bad attitude. The second slices were still only warm, not hot, I was able to eat one cold pizza (I was so hungry). It’s disappointing to have such a poor experience where options are limited. I hope management addresses both the quality of the pizza and the way customers are treated, they need to do better.
I hate written bad reviews, but this place deserves it. If you scroll down, I’m not the only person that had this bad experience.

Love this pizzeria. I had a #1 lunch combo. The service was great I had a pepperoni slice and a cheese slice. They were so good I had to try sausage too. Picture of the sausage pizza.

Take out, 5 pizzas for 3 families on a winter snowboard trip. The pizzas were all great. Not the best ive ever had but super good for a mountain town. Normally I’m a cheese and pepperoni guy but I was surprised that I really liked the Socal pizza. I will definitely get pizza here again on our next trip.

It’s the only pizza on the mountain, so it gets super busy. A lot of the reviews are hard on the business, but they don’t understand that there’s only so much capacity a small business can do with demand greater than they can handle.

That’s my disclaimer with the place.

When you go when it’s not busy, it’s great!

The pizza is a traditional thicker crust cheesy pizza. They have some good combo and topping options as well, but it’s not a thin crust by any means.

Their lunch specials are a killer deal! Regular prices are steep for a pizza, but it’s back to the supply demand thing and being the only place on the mountain.

They do have really good wings and some of their sandwiches are pretty good as well. We go here for the pizza specials and wings when we’re feeling it. It’s a great vibe to come in and sit down if it’s not too busy.

Call ahead and see if it’s busy, and if not, head over! If it is, plan ahead and get take out.

The pizza is always so delicious here! They have a lunch combo that includes two slices and a fountain drink or a beer for a great price. To add onto the delicious food, the owners Tony and Melissa are wonderful people and have a great attitude! Great service from everyone that works there!

Very expensive for average quality food overall. Assuming it’s not burnt, which one of our pizzas was. Other reviews suggest this is a common experience.
The chicken parm pizza was good, I’ll give them that. Also one of the staff members was sort of rude, which again, tracks with the other reviews of this place.

Probably won’t come back.
