To be clear: phone orders are NOT prepaid — everyone still has to pay in person.
Since I had already ordered by phone, I stopped an employee who was walking food out and asked if phone orders that should be ready already had to wait in the line. She told me yes, go to the end of the line.
So we did.
After waiting another 40 minutes, we finally got near the front, only to watch multiple people walk straight up to the counter, shout that they had phone orders, and get helped immediately. The cashier told these people stand right here and i’ll help you next.
That directly contradicted what we were told.
At that point, I spoke up and explained that we were also picking up a phone order and were instructed to go to the back of the line. If anything, we should have been next. Only then were we acknowledged.
I paid (and even tipped, trying to be a decent human), and then the cashier tried to locate our food. She could only find the pizza–which barely looked cooked–and couldn’t find our wings. Her solution was to “throw some in” and for me to wait until they were done. 80 minutes after our order was placed……..
You’re telling me there are piles of completed orders sitting there, but you can’t spare a cooked order of wings and remake them for someone else? That made no sense.
At that point, I asked to cancel the entire order and get a refund.
The OWNER came over, showed zero interest in hearing what happened, offered no apology, no explanation, no empathy, just processed the refund and walked away. I’m not even confident my tip was refunded.
Bottom line: this place is chaotic, gives conflicting instructions, rewards people who cut the line, and does not care when they waste over an hour of your time.
If more than two people are in line, don’t even bother.
I hate written bad reviews, but this place deserves it. If you scroll down, I’m not the only person that had this bad experience.
That’s my disclaimer with the place.
When you go when it’s not busy, it’s great!
The pizza is a traditional thicker crust cheesy pizza. They have some good combo and topping options as well, but it’s not a thin crust by any means.
Their lunch specials are a killer deal! Regular prices are steep for a pizza, but it’s back to the supply demand thing and being the only place on the mountain.
They do have really good wings and some of their sandwiches are pretty good as well. We go here for the pizza specials and wings when we’re feeling it. It’s a great vibe to come in and sit down if it’s not too busy.
Call ahead and see if it’s busy, and if not, head over! If it is, plan ahead and get take out.
The chicken parm pizza was good, I’ll give them that. Also one of the staff members was sort of rude, which again, tracks with the other reviews of this place.
Probably won’t come back.
