This is a gem of a locally-owned eatery in downtown Selma. I had a delicious turkey bacon club on toast with chips, pickle, and drink. I had them add a side of two deviled eggs and finished it off with a tasty chocolate chip cookie. Why visit a chain when there’s a great local place like this? You’ll get a warm and friendly greeting from the ladies who work there and make this place so charming.

I saw this place on TikTok and went today for the burger. This was hands down the best burger in the area. Probably one of the best burgers I’ve had in years. The girls working there were so friendly and the dinning room was spotless. I will definitely be back soon.

I found them searching for a chicken salad sandwich. I happened to be in the area and stopped for lunch. The chicken salad was good, traditional, southern. I don’t like fruit and extra additives. It was perfect and quick.
My lunch was complete before I could fill my cup of tea. My only suggestion was the iced tea could’ve been better. The price, customer service and lunch deal were really good.

I had the vegetable beef soup with a grilled cheese for lunch today. Though the AC was out at the moment, the atmosphere still felt great, staff was making the best of an unexpected situation and my food really was a comfort for me since I’ve been under the weather the last two days.

My mom told me about this place and I would see the pink signs but I never get the time to try it or sometimes I don’t even think of it because I work in Raleigh. Today I was out taking my dad to a doctors appointment and I insisted on stopping here for lunch. I ordered take out, and I got Mema’s lunch box with the pimento sandwich toasted and ordered a burger outside of that. I would just love to say that I was very pleased. The food was very tasty and I got a good amount for my buck. My dad didn’t want any, but I ate about half of everything and I was full and have leftovers. I only spent like $17. The staff was also very friendly. I will definitely add this on the list for the next time me and my mom decide to go out for lunch. It was also a beautiful day and they had outside seating, I only wished I had time to just sit and eat there. They also had seating inside. This is a gem inside of Selma, I will definitely recommend this to everyone I know in or visiting the area! ❤️

Loved it. The chicken salad reminded me of how it always tasted growing up in Johnston County with that hint of sweetness. The sweet tea is perfect. Very cute place! Highly recommend trying. Only open for lunch M-F, though.
