We randomly just popped in the restaurant and it was a great choice altogether. We went for the Carbonara and Bolognese, which let me say they were proper authentic with a really amazing taste. Everything is done with the original ingredients.
We also got some homemade wine and Tiramisu.
Altogether I can recommend this place for food. Don’t hesitate.

Pivo & Basilico on Zámecká Street was a wonderful surprise. Their Malá Strana beer is excellent, and both the pinsa and lasagna were absolutely delicious, fresh, well-seasoned, and honestly made.
The place has a very friendly, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, not at all touristy. A perfect spot whether you’re stopping by for a quick beer or a relaxed dinner. Highly recommended.

Very authentic Italian restaurant at strategic location. Came in here for a hearty Italian meal after visit to the castle above. Friendly and welcoming staff towards walk in customers. Nice ambience and environment. Very clean toilet. Food is as Italian as it is. Super authentic and tasty. Highly recommended.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the warmest smiles and truly exceptional hospitality — the staff were unbelievably friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do.

Then came the mains: a perfectly baked pinsa with a crisp, airy crust and rich toppings, and homemade pasta that was beyond delicious — you can really taste the love and care that goes into every dish.

Had a nice size starter salad, the tomato soup was very good. Would recommend fresh pasta dishes. The green ravioli was very good, the meat sauce was very meaty just wish it had more tomato. Pistachio terimisu was good.

Very cozy Italian restaurant in a great location, exactly what you’ll need after a long visit in the castle and the monastery. Most of the foods we tried were amazing. Totally recommend lasagna, arrabbiata and pinsa. Best ones I’ve tried in a long time. The carbonara, unfortunately wasn’t as good. We all felt that the pasta was kinda overcooked and the sauce tasted a little too egglike. It wasn’t a bad dish tho. The place was very clean, the staff polite and the food was served pretty quickly.

The mushroom lasagna we chose was very fatty and not what we generally think of as lasagna, but the pasta with minced meat was quite good. The local beer, MalaStrana, was very good; we recommend it.
