We visited the Pittman Cafe for breakfast with high hopes given the ambiance and history of the venue, but unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations.

The food quality was disappointing across the board. The egg whites arrived undercooked and still quite raw, and to make matters worse, the eggs were served cold. The tater tots and sausage were excessively salty to the point of being difficult to enjoy. Adding to the letdown was the presentation—everything was served on single-use plastic plates, which felt incongruous with the atmosphere and character of the establishment.

On a positive note, the coffee was good and met expectations.

However, based on the overall experience—particularly the food quality and preparation issues—I would not recommend the Pittman Cafe for breakfast.

Located inside the Mizpah Hotel, where we had breakfast during a two-night stay. The atmosphere was perfect, bringing you back to days gone by. The restaurant is a nice size and was very well maintained by the staff. The food was well prepared and served hot, and in a timely manner. Extremely friendly staff but we must give major kudos to Chef, Joe. Each morning after we received our breakfast, he would personally come out of the kitchen to make sure our food was to our liking and to offer a friendly daily greeting, which just made our day. Chef Joe did this for every single guest that came into the restaurant to eat, and I cannot express what a wonderful touch it added to our day, quite impressive. A great breakfast combined with excellent service made us leave with a smile on our faces, making for a perfect way to start off the day. Thank you.

You want breakfast??? Come here. I ordered it 2 days in a row. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The biscuit was baked fresh. I wanted to eat 6 of them, but I didn’t want to be a pig. The hashbrowns gave me LIFE- CRISPY, FLAVORFUL, & GOLDEN.

I actually have dinner at the Jack Dempsey Room, which is the restaurant that opens for dinner. Food is amazing, fine dinning for sure. The place is small so you have to wait for a table, but it’s worth it. This time I got the red snapper with coconut rice and curry sauce, and it was amazing.

Went in for breakfast. The hostess showed us where we could get our own coffee (really?). Breakfast served on plastic plates, water came in a lipped plastic to-go cup. Plastic utensils were provided. We bussed our own table. No one else was but us. The two of us ended up sick from the food. What happened to this place. It use to be okay?

This was a great place to eat with my wife. It was located in the Mizpah Hotel. Very nice historical hotel.

The food was very delicious. The coffee was just right. The only downside is that the pancakes were non-fluffy and small for the $7 price. They did taste good though. Also, they charge you $3 for coffee.

Very clean cafe inside the Mizpah Hotel. I got the country fried steak which was very delicious. Good quality coffee and my daughter had a pancake with bacon and hot chocolate all of which she liked. Very friendly waitress and wonderful ambiance. Bloody Mary was OK but the entire experience was 5 stars….

Order dinner take out. Ordered the chicken fried chicken and Salmon dinners. The salmon was a little bland could have used some more spices for flavor. The mashed potatoes had the peel in it which I personally don’t like. The chicken fried chicken was cooked satisfactory and had good flavor.

Really good restaurant in a classic hotel in To opah. I did not expect the food will be good but, it blew my mind! The food here is too good! The burger, french fries, garlic fries and even breakfast, it is way too good. I would have not expected stopping in Tonopah for any reason, but now Tonopah has reason for me to stop, this restaurant. The Tonopah brewery beer (it was red ale) is one of the best beers. Now I have to find some liquor store selling the Tonopah brewery beer.

I ordered three cheese omelette, toast and sausage on the side. I asked the waitress for dry toast, only cheddar on the omelette because American cheese is garbage to eat and home fries.. I got an omelette covered in American cheese, toast smothered in butter and hash browns. On top of that she forgot the side of sausage.. basically got my entire order wrong and didn’t write anything down..
