Great local bar to grab a cheap bite and a drink. Food pricing is very reasonable and food tastes good for the price you pay. Great drink prices amd friendly staff. This is a smoking bar but they must have great ventilation as the smell wasn’t real strong. Daily lunch specials.

This place was awesome. It was once said to me that “you know that you are a Hoosier, if you judge a place off of how good their tenderloin sandwich is”, and as a lifelong Hoosier I can say without a doubt that this place has got it going on. The service was fantastic, the ladies working there were incredibly accommodating and kind. It was an awesome lunch, and the very next time I am in town I know exactly where I will be going to thrown on the ol feed bag. IF I had to find something to gripe about, it would be that it is a smoking bar. As a former smoker, I do not love the smell anymore. Since it was lunch time it was not too bad, but other than I would absolutely recommend Pits.

Hand breaded tenderloins were great along with the shrimp dinner, fries and slaw. Wasn’t to thrilled with the onion rings, they were big but kinda tough and didn’t agree with me and another member of our party. I’ll go back for the tenderloin at some point I’m sure.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch the other day. The breaded tenderloin was delicious and one of the best I’ve had. My wife had the bacon jam cheeseburger and said it was really good. They had a good amount of beers to choose from also. We will definitely be going back for lunch again

I had one of the best bar burgers I’ve had in years here. And the breaded mushrooms were perfect. It is a dive bar, so don’t expect to get fancy drinks, but the pours are generous and the prices good, and the food is everything it needs to be and should be. It might not be what I want every night, especially if I’m feeling adventurous, but it is exactly what is claims to be, and very very good at being that. I can not recommend this place highly enough.

Love the tenderloin. The girls hooked us up during the forth of July parade. I ordered 4 tenderloins” just sandwich”. They brought them out to us on the street with chips and all the fixings you could possibly put on a sandwich.
