Delicious Halal Meat & Burgers — Worth the Visit!
I recently visited Pitmaster on Wilmslow Road in Manchester and I was really impressed with my experience. I tried two of their standout items — the Meat Stacker and the Supreme Burger — and both were delicious. The burgers were juicy, well-seasoned, and packed with flavour, with plenty of meat that made each bite satisfying. The generous portions really hit the spot, especially if you’re hungry for a hearty meal.
One thing I appreciated is that the food is fully halal, something I always look out for, and it was great to enjoy BBQ-style dishes with that peace of mind.
Not everything was perfect. I thought the nachos were average — they didn’t stand out much compared to the burgers — but the bites and fries were good and added nicely as sides to the main dishes.
The overall vibe of the place leans toward a relaxed, casual BBQ smokehouse rather than fine dining. It can get a bit busy at peak times, but the food arrives promptly and is well worth the wait if you enjoy bold, smoky flavours.

Delicious brisket loaded fries. Good thing is you get proper meat with fries. We have been few times and always loved it. I think they should increase variety in menu. Loved the place.

Ordered a brisket melt burger with the BBQ smokehouse rib loaded fries. Staff are helpful and courteous. Brisket was made to perfection as was the rib. Definitely recommended.

Pitmaster is a must when visiting Manchester.
The brisket ribs are succulent soft and tender and fall off the bone.
We also got the brisket loaded fries in the bbq smokehouse flavour. It hit the spot and was a must. Next time I would just share a rib and get the loaded fries to share also as the portions are hefty.
Service was good and the condiments to go with were amazing.
Would recommend if you are in Manchester if not get down to Manchester and try anyway.

They seriously know what they’re doing — the loaded fries and brisket are very good – some of the best I’ve ever had. Good vibes, plenty of seating, and really friendly service. They even threw in some extra fries on the house, which was such a nice touch. And trust me, you have to get a cookie — it’s good.

Both the Loaded fries were ordered were the highlight for us! The shredded Rib pieces on top fries and Nacho cheese you can opt for different flavours which is a great concept! The Brisket also had so much flavour; just a joy to eat!
We also really enjoyed the burgers! The melt burger had very soft and tender Brisket pieces and it went so well with the Peppercorn sauce; a very subtle peppery flavour. Again with this burger you can choose different flavours! Even the mac and cheese bites were so good! Probably the best we’ve had, so cheesy and creamy and good portion size!

Great helpful staff. The food is worth every penny spent. By far the best Texas BBQ in the UK, no other match. Juicy and succulent beef ribs and brisket served fresh from the slow cooker. This was my second time coming here and won’t be my last. Also, to mention very casual warm environment but the food tops it’s all.

Had an amazing BBQ experience at this spot! The short ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, smoky, and packed with flavor — easily some of the best I’ve had. The loaded fries were the perfect side: crispy, cheesy, and topped with just the right amount of sauce. The staff were welcoming and made the whole visit even better.
