I visited Pitch with moderate expectations and left feeling the experience was mixed. While there are some genuinely good elements, inconsistent execution across dishes keeps this from being a strong recommendation.
I ordered the Tinman pizza, which featured interesting flavor combinations but suffered from an execution problem. The crust was too thin and became saggy in the middle, unable to support the weight of the toppings. This made it difficult to eat and detracted from what could have been an enjoyable dish. Adding to the disappointment, the jalapeños were served raw, which threw off both the flavor balance and texture.
The meatball and focaccia appetizer was the clear highlight of our meal. The meatballs came in a flavorful meat sauce that the focaccia absorbed beautifully. We also ordered fries, which were perfectly fried with a crisp exterior and soft interior, but oddly arrived completely unseasoned. Even basic salt would have elevated them significantly.
The draft beer selection was rather limited, offering fewer options than I’d expect from a restaurant positioning itself as a casual dining and drinks spot.
The value proposition is reasonable, particularly the 2 for $15 appetizer and pizza slice selections, which makes experimentation more affordable. However, the inconsistency across dishes means you’re taking a chance with each order.
I’d rate this a 3 out of 5—there’s potential here, but the kitchen needs to tighten up execution before making it a regular stop.

The quality of the food has declined since we last visited this location. The chicken on my Cobb salad wasn’t cooked all the way and the replaced salad was worse and smelled bad as if it were spoiled. The spare rib grilled cheese was dried out and disgusting. I am not impressed anymore. It’s too dark and you can’t really see your food without turning the camera light on your phone. A waste of $70.00. I should have gone back to Jams where similar food taste way better.

We went to dinner and our server was absolutely amazing. Totally spacing her name but maybe Grace? Anyways, she was the vibe. Our drinks were 10/10. The food… not my fav. My spicy honey chicken sandwich was not at all spicy. It was so sweet, too sweet. The bacon on the sandwich was 10/10 I would recommend. My boyfriend got the special, he said it was good, we went with his dad who ordered the pizza, it wasn’t anything fantastic. I would for sure go back for drinks and maybe their apps…

We went for my husband’s birthday dinner and we’re a bit disappointed. We got two pizzas and they were both soggy in the middle. Too many toppings and flavors that didnt mix well. The crust was good, but it got lost in the mess of toppings.
One pizza was bland and tasteless. The other had good flavors but needed less toppings, it was too much.
The service was good, we got right in and our server was lovely. Can’t say I’d recommend it to anyone based on the food though.
*Everything on your menu should be something you’re proud of and stand behind. If your pizzas aren’t great, maybe you should take them off your menu.

Last minute date night and we had a GREAT experience! First time for both of us, and it did not disappoint! Our server Grace was AMAZING!!! She had the best personality, was extremely attentive, and overall made our experience absolutely awesome. The food was just as lovely 🙂 I had the beef stroganoff special, which may have been the best I’ve ever tasted. My partner had the Mia pizza, which was beautifully seasoned and had a great crust. Overall, a fantastic experience! We will most definitely be back!

First and foremost if you like Chicken Wings, start your meal off with an order of the Rosemary Sweet & Spicy Wings. The flavor of the sauce is simply incredible and they always come out cooked to perfection. This time around we went with a couple of new items. The Beef Stroganoff was good, it wasn’t blow my socks off good tho. I was really impressed with the crab cakes, they were cooked well and had great flavor. The steak in the coconut curry sauce was phenomenal. The sauce had such great flavor and the steak was great. Also if you are in the area on the weekend and want brunch, this place has a very large menu full of great options.

Pitch is our go-to when we want to get a pie. I had the Tinman and it was very good. The jalapeños were a flavorful touch I enjoyed. My wife had the Mia and she enjoyed hers as well. Overall, the atmosphere of the store in Dundee is amazing but this store is clean and more contemporary. The parking out west is the best, as anyone familiar with the Dundee area can attest to. Great food, clean store, and the staff is very friendly. We will enjoy our leftover pie tomorrow too. Go check it out if you’ve never been. If you have been, you know what I’m talking about.

Stayed at a hotel near Pitch so it was an easy stop for dinner. The place looked super cool from the outside so we had pretty high expectations. Seems like a popular ‘happy hour’ spot. We were able to enjoy the patio while also watching a NFL game. For the two of us, we ordered an appetizer, a whole pizza, and three drinks. That was a good amount of food for the two of us. We ended up taking 1/3 of the pizza to go. Bill was over $100.
I am torn, I liked the place, but didn’t “love” it. Here’s why….
1) Order the crab cake appetizer – portion size was very hardy and presentation was great. The Asian inspired slaw served with it was amazing, but the crab cake was…blah. Probably my least favorite crab cake I’ve ever had (and I order it a lot). There was a peanut texture that just caught me off guard. I like spice, but this might be a bit too spicy for some. Overall, can’t recommend a crab cake that is outshined by the slaw served with it.
2) $30 for a pizza! I was willing to pay $30, obviously, but was expecting it to completely blow me away. It was good…but not $30 good.
3) Inconsistant cocktail. I ordered a mule and it was mostly ice with a nice taste – couldn’t taste the alcohol. I ordered a second (same) cocktail and it was the opposite. Little ice and overwhelming alcohol taste. I wish I could have mixed the two together. The bartenders need to get on the same page, I guess.
Overall, it was a good spot close to where we were staying. I would probably check out another place the next time I was in Omaha.

We have been in for dinner before but today was our first time visiting for Sunday brunch and it did not disappoint. All of our food was excellent with big portions, no one left hungry! I had the breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. My husband had the biscuits and gravy and he loved it. Both of my kids ordered the French toast. Highly recommend! Bonus is that they take reservations, which was perfect for our large party that included extended family.
