The trucker special was plenty to eat and everything was loaded with flavor except the chicken. The chicken was kind of bland and could use some more seasoning. I also tried stuffed grape leaves and falafel from my from me partners plate and it was different but I would try it again. The cook was great and was very helpful when I was ordering. I would recommend travelers to visit the oasis and enjoy a meal.

This place is my first choice whenever I stop at the oasis. Although the prices are higher than I would usually pay for lunch, the food is flavorful and good quality, and the portions are big enough that I always have leftovers, making it a good value. The employees are efficient and pleasant. Please note: If you tip the employee, please give a cash tip as it is rumored that the credit card tips are kept by the management, not given to the workers.

Chicken shawarma wrap was great, fresh, real chicken, it was well spiced although I would have like it much spicier and more charred. The cucumber salad was nice. The garlic sauce would be nicer thicker and maybe some lettuce. Maybe add homemade chips as a side. The mango orange smoothie was the bomb!! Thick fresh real fruit delicious.

I went to order food and asked for two orders, but I was only given one. When I pointed this out, he asked why I didn’t tell him. I explained that I had told him, but he was on the phone at the time. The employee then became defensive and rude, saying it was none of my business if he was on the phone. He also made inappropriate comments in Arabic about Somalis. Bringing political or personal views into the workplace is unacceptable. This behavior was disrespectful, unprofessional, and made me feel uncomfortable as a customer. I would like management to look into this incident and take appropriate action regarding this employee’s behavior. The way I was spoken to, along with the inappropriate comments made, is unacceptable in a workplace. If this issue is not addressed, I will consider pursuing the matter through formal complaint channels, as I do not want this type of behavior to happen to another customer.

The food at the Pita X-press was absolutely delicious. The veggies were crunchy. My chicken shawarma wrap was quite lovely. Keep your paper wrapped around it! There’s a lot of filling. For me, it was enough for two meals. One of our car mates wished they’d grabbed a second one for supper later. Everyone found something to make them happy. It’s marked in my favorites list next time I’m headed this way.

This place NEEDS to be closed. Get a health inspector here asap. My first clue something was up was when the shawarma wasn’t spinning and buddy pressed his hands directly into where the flame SHOULD be to see it wasn’t on. He had to slice the chicken and grill it on a flat top to warm it up. The vegetables were mush, the “salad” had chunks of lemon peels in it and the rice was sitting for ages and also mush. Got 3 hours of sleep because I spent the majority of the night on the toilet. Results weren’t pretty. Going to continue getting people sick.

Delicious food, portion was pretty good. It was my first time eating this food and I love it, is spicy and delicious. The fresh carrot juice was amazing. Will definitely stop again to try some of the other combos.

The chicken shawarma wrap has bad, like the chicken marinade did not taste good at all.
Also ordered strawberry banana smoothie and this one wasn’t even a little bit sweet, I get it it’s a smoothie but you gotta add some milk not just raw strawberries and bananas, had to throw after 2 sips because I couldn’t handle the plain smoothie.
Absolute waste of money, never coming back.

Been here a few times. The chicken shwarma plate does not disappoint. The tahini salad is excellent as well. I get the hot sauce plus tahini added. Rice and vegetables are solid.
