5 Stars ain’t enough for this place, not even close. As a 75 year old well seasoned fast-food veteran in CA, CO, PA, OH, WV, and my final resting place, New Hudson, I am here to tell you this Mediterranean Grill style eatery is at the TOP of the list, with the likes of In-N-Out Burger and Rubio’s Fish Tacos. And with no offense to our great state of Michigan, IMO, that puts Pita Way alone on peak. Just today, a chance enounter w/the manager of their Milford Rd. location at the bank. I made a comment about the monogram on his jacket, next thing I knew I had a personal invite for a free-gratis sample of their chow! Fred has the kind of enthusiasm rarely seen in typical legacy fast food joints, the ‘big guy’. Look you straight in the eye, big smile, no b.s. about, totally authentic living his commitment to the company, every moment. As a former national marketing rep, etc. etc. this is the kind of person that grows a business and is happy doing it. A few hours later I walked, he immediately recognized and acknowledged me as I stepped to the end of the line of folks already there. I looked at the menu, haven’t a clue what a Shawarmas might be, but names like “Detroit Chicken”, “The Dearborn” & “6 Pack” got me to chucklin’ even after a rather miserable day, and chulklin’ right now as I write this. AND, like all real Team members do, gave credit aloud to his mentor, Nick. I think it was the Detroit Gyro but I’m not sure however it was 3 meals for me, including breakfast today. So, if you are hungry, and tired of the same ole’ nuggets n’ fries, or whatever, do yourself, your family, & your friends a favor, and your taste buds and body will thank you for eating this healthy, fresh, made-while-you-watch Mediterranean Grill fare. PITA WAY is the G.O.A.T. and if my Italian Grandma’ hadn’t passed away a short time ago, I’m sure she would agree. Oh, I almost forgot, the price for my meal, including soft-drink of my choice, was what I last paid up the road for a breakfast sandwich, fried potato cake, and medium milkshae, none of which was particularly for my health. BTW, for good measure Fred brought me a ‘take out’ cover for my sandwich, and asked if I liked bakalava. Are you kidding? He handed me a pre-packaged PITA WAY Baklava on my way out the door!! Aaaahhhh that sweet sweet sugar buzz. I slept like a baby. ; -) I’ll be back soon, and thanks a million! The entire experience was uplifting and truly joyful, and definitely a first for me in a “fast food eatery” that felt more like a family get together. Visited your place for the first time ever on Oct 1 , got the mini combo family platter mentioned what a great price is was $34.99 the African young gentleman and the lady agreed with me .. and went on to prepare the meal for me .. asked me what protein I wanted , besides all the chicken options I mentioned I wanted double lamb .. ( to my surprise when I got home I had NONE in the box , my husband was not happy ) , after they finished preparing it they proceeded to to ring me up .. only to tell me ..” oh sorry it’s not $34.99 it’s actually $44.99 , the special is only in the weekend “ .. I was like oh well , since you already made it I guess I’ll take it ..
The food was very tasty and flavorful, great portion , nice full box of salad , which made me go yet again 3 days later ( Saturday ) and order another mini combo…
The experience was nothing like before ..
I got there around 7:15 ish .. there was only one couple ahead of me and they were also working on a online order..
They I asked again for extra lamb and mentioned how I didn’t get it last time ..
They had to cook more .. said it will be 10 min for it .. ( definitely was not .. more like 20) they set up my enter tray besides the lamb and the crispy chicken.. they proceeded To finely chop up all the chicken why why why ?!?! I didn’t catch them on time to tell them not too till the crispy chicken.. it was not chopped up like this last time .. I get it for wraps but not for a serving tray .. I’m not feeding birds .. I like using tongs , my daughter likes dipping her chicken in garlic sauce .. not this time she couldn’t even pick up the pieces.. while the lamb cooked my food was left open without the lid on till eventually I asked her to please cover it as it was getting cold … ( sure enough it was cold)
This meal & salad it’s supposed to feed 4 people .. yet the salad was so small it wasn’t feeding 2 people .. I’m assuming there should have been 4 pieces of flat bread .. we only got 3 ..
But besides all that the food was just bland .. no flavor .. the rice mushy and overcooked .. my husband took a bite and agreed with me that it’s just absolutely awful.. when we were here on Wednesday we loved loved it .. couldn’t have enough of it .. this time around we just ate mostly the
bread and hummus and garlic ..
Sure enough we will not be back .. those young men definitely need more training in cooking that food .. I’m sure they missed spices and what not when cooking the meets and rice .. it was so delicious and flavorful when the young African American gentleman served me the other day ..

What a fantastic experience!!! I was greeted as soon as I entered. The excitement and energy of all the people serving the food was infectious, and put me in a better mood. Speaking of the food, all the recommendations were absolutely delicious, the dark meat chicken, the hummus and garlic, and wow the tourshi. I will definitely be getting myself some more Pita Way and telling everyone about it.

Pita Way is the best option in fast casual. As an avid mediterranean food lover and chipotle fan… I walked in to the New Hudson location 4 years ago and my life was changed. Great staff, great/fresh food, and convenience in one place. I became a regular and most of the staff knew my order before I was at the counter. I recently moved to Bowling Green KY and the nearest pita way is an hour + away. I hope this franchise continues to expand and (fingers crossed) opens a Bowling Green location. 5 Stars, and if I could, i would give a 6th. P.S. please keep the dill sauce.

Nathan and Nolan were absolutely amazing! Nathan had been in since 9am and we went in for dinner. After a long day of working he still provided amazing customer service and was very knowledgeable about the restaurant for only being with pita way for 2 months. They both were so energetic and so helpful with any questions we had. We have never been to a pita way with nothing but amazing services Thank you!!

The food was great and tasted so fresh and clean. Nolan was a great employee. He definitely set the tone for the place. He made sure we knew exactly what we’re ordering and helped it make up our mind with all the amazing choices. He issued us samples of the different sauces and the veggies. Definitely a great sales team member. He is the star of the place and keep the energy high and positive with all the customers. Definitely coming back
