I mean bro… This is simply the best Pitaway. Food is phenomenal as always, but what sets this place apartis the staff. Holden and Tiara made my bowl today and just knocked it out of the park. Super accommodating to my customizations, and I could tell they actually cared about how they assembled it all. I’m not from the area, but I stop by whenever I’m here, cuz theres just nothing better. Holden really has a Hold on the store. See what I did there?

We had such a wonderful customer service experience here. My hubby and I came here for a date night (our first time here) and enjoyed the food. I especially loved all the pickled options for my queso-wrap. It was about $5 more expensive than I thought it was worth. Also, I had leftovers (we each combo’d it up), but the wrap was big.

This place should be called Cross Contamination Station. The workers were touching the register, chicken tongs, deep fryers with their gloves on and attempted to make my Quesopita. I had to walk out or I would have been very sick. Both workers were touching everything as if trying to read braille. Which makes sense because you’d have to be blind to not see the amount of cross contamination you’re doing. These workers are going to get people sick.

We eat at Pita Wayat least once a week. That may be changing.
My daughter and I just purchased a sandwich. As the server went to put garlic on it we noticed that it was separated. All the times we have been in there we have never seen this before. But I trusted them and even ordered a tiny container of the sauce. Well when we got home and opened the sandwich we find it is oily the pita is completely soggy and mushy. The garlic sauce in the little cup was separated, almost looking curdling. I called the Fort Gratiot store and the manger said that they make the sauce in store now, I think maybe they should stop making it themselves.
Again we trusted them and ate our food. With in 10 minutes after eating we realized our food is not going to stay us and the rest of the day is spent being sick

In town visiting on Sunday, December 14th and the staff was the most phenomenal experience I’ve had in a long while! They were so friendly and helpful and some of the happiest people I’ve ever met. The food was terrific but honestly, the people made the experience.

My boyfriend got carryout from here. We got home, and my boyfriend realizes that the food in the bag is not what he ordered. It was someone else’s order. We call to tell them, and they say yeah your order is here you can come get it. My boyfriend asked if it was still warm, the guy on the phone said “probably”. Didn’t offer to remake the order or anything. It had been sitting for at least 20 minutes at that point, the right thing to do would be to remake the order since it was no longer fresh.

Chris and Devin are an asset to this location! With fantastic, fresh, and flavor packed food items these guys know how to advertise just how great this food is. Not only can you tell they believe in the food they are making, but they believe in building relationships with the guest that walk in. Always an incredible experience at the Port Huron Pita Way!
