From the moment you walk in, you are greeted in a friendly and welcoming manner. Eyyad, Waleed, and the rest of the staff make you feel right at home.
The food is beyond compare; Fresh, healthy, made-to-order, and DELICIOUS! My favorite is the chicken shawarma, and whether you get a sandwich on the pita bread (pocket bread), shrak bread (middle-eastern flatbread wrap), or the shawarma bowl, you will not be disappointed. The hummus, felafel, felafel sandwich, kefta kabobs, are all outstanding!
You will pay $15 or more at a fast-food restaurant for food that is the most unhealthy on the planet. Why not make a very healthy and wholesome choice, and come to Pita Land for a great meal — Your tastebuds and your body will thank-you! I guarantee it!

Walid and Mohamed always provide great service, and the food is always amazing especially my favorite, the chicken kabob thin wrap. They suggested I try something new, and I went with the chicken shawarma, which was another delicious choice. I’ve never tasted anything like it before!

One of the best if not the best beef Shawerma on the south side. Hard to compete with overseas but eating here takes me back. Beef Shawerma in pita bread rolled up with onion, tomato, sumac and pickles. The way it’s suppose to be eaten. But to each is own.

Honestly the best restaurant i’ve ever been to. The service is absolutely amazing. They always greet you with a smile. The food is beyond delicious. You can taste the seasoning and the food just melts in your mouth. Honestly, definitely recommend this place for dining in, Catering, Or takeout.

I’ve been going to this location of Peter land for gotta be at least a good 10 years and this is the first time I’ve ever been disappointed in the service and the food that I received. I simply ordered chicken Shawarma on pita spicy and what I got wasn’t extremely dry sandwich dry unflavored chicken, and ultimately it was slightly below average sandwich. The only part of the sandwich I have flavor with the pickles I asked for spicy and I got no red chili sauce on my sandwich. If I didn’t know better I would say this was a new management situation. Has everything seemed a bit different inside, including the employees. I’ll head back in another month or two and check out the sandwich again and see how it goes otherwise I’ll head down the street the best Shawarma and see if anything change there.
